EMMORTAL, I'm definitely not sure about "Tiajuna" but I 'woke up' on a similar looking sidestreet in T-town once, so I only "assume" it was Tiajuana.

You're probably more likely correct regarding Bangkok but I also work up on a few Bangkok allies and it don't look familiar to me.

Is Backlot - Universal a possible possibility?

And I did 'wake up' there one afternoon doing a fight scene with a supposedly "breakaway bottle" which did not breakaway upon coming in contact with my head.

It's quite possible as I don't know the premise of the movie, haven't been keeping tabs on it.  If it is Tijuana it seems like they might be visiting the worlds best whoring cities =)  I'm sure it will be good, I thoroughly enjoyed the first one.

Reeves, Sorry you got losted in LA, but that sounds like a great new title for an upcoming sequel
Just about that time I was driving back and forth from Woodland Hills to La Jolla in the pouring down rain and fog along Hwy 5.
It's amazing how great that freeway gets once you reach the vicinity of Disneyland and then all the way down to Pendleton.

To the best of my knowledge the Hobbit auditions (outside of the principal players) were/are held in New Zealand where it is being produced and I got no pull whatsoever unless you want to sell popcorn.

No worries and to be honest just aboot the last thing I want to do is portray a hobbit on the big screen, just wanted to meet up, that's all.   ;D  Used to go to La Jolla...
Later days, stuntmeister. ;D

Hobbit impersonators get big bucks, Reeves. And if they want you bad enough, they'd simply gut you off at the knees.

Off topic but the Captain America prevues look damn impressive and the Thor actor (Chris Hemsworth) should have been cast in the Conan role. He put on size for this role of Thor.

And here's the explanation I got from someone who saw SuckerPunch.....

Babydoll was actually in a home for the criminally insane but the administrators of that 'hospital' set it up as a whorehouse for the wealthy. And in an effort to maintain the little bit of 'sanity' that Babydoll still possessed, she had to develop an imaginary world.

Or something like that.

I don't think she understood it either.

Bay likey :D
Watch Donkey Punch, you will like it as well...
Also watch The Horseman, let's just say, a father who is like Al Bundy exacting revenge on a Porno company and it's actors is quite gruesome.

ok...the studio has up the steaks on his folks.  if he fights doomsday...he has to DIE, it has to be epic like the 1st superman, has to be 2-3 parts with the impostor supermen and his return.  they wont do it.

I just saw in IMDB that Amy Adams will play Lois Lane. She's great, although Rachel McAdams would've been just as good or better.

BTW, lots of people in the IMDB boards have been saying what you're saying - that they need some major villain with whom Supes has some epic battles. But since this is a reboot, maybe this movie might be more about the origins and development of the character, same as "Batman Begins" was to the Batman franchise. In which case it will probably be Lex Luthor and maybe another villain, with someone like Doomsday or Darkseid to be used in the sequel.

They NEED to do a movie of the "The death and return of Superman"/Doomsday, but they need to do it right.
Knowing Hollywoods idiotic need to change and rewrite things to put their own ego stamp on it (Egomaniacs always think they can write better), theyd probably fuck it up.
Oh well.

Agree. The animated movie was actually good, but I read it deviated from the comic storyline a fair bit.

Smallville fucked up the Doomsday season big time. It was the biggest, most anti-climatic let down, with the whole fight being under 1 minute, after building up the entire season to that climax, lol. Other than that it's a great series, of course ;D

Yeah the animated movie was way off (missing all the fake Supermen/robosuperman etc), BUT did a good job on the actual Doomsday fight sequence. They really captured the epicness of the battle.
Dont watch/never even seen Smallville. Lol. Never been a super hardcore fan but I loved the Death/return and some other comics.

You should check it out. There are 10 seasons and the final 6 episodes of the last season (X) starts airing on the 15th of April. I only started watching the show last year and it's hands down the best series about Superman ever. Great cast and tons of actions in most of the episodes, although they've changed the storyline a bit here and there, and have introduced new characters.

I didn't word that right. I saw the entire series, right from the 1st episode of Season I to the episodes from season 10 that have aired so far, in the span of a couple of months late last year, lol.

And yeah, love Erica Durance. She's like a younger, hotter version of Sandra Bullock.

very good comparison....good point.....Erica Durance is really hot on that show..especially since they made her into a brunette......way hotter than Chloe or Lana.....I swear I get an erection every episode when Lois shows up in her first scene of the show
