You should do some reading, gimmick, as one eastern Libyan town sent 5x that many fighters to Iraq in 2006 alone.  ::)

My tolerance for these idiots is really waning.  Blackass probably did not even read the articles about the jihadis from lybia going to iraq.

really, who the fu#k cares

as for the number it's not 25 but around 250                 Abdel-Hakim al-Hasidi admitted earlier today that he personally recruited 250 Libyans to fight against coalition troops in Iraq. Some of these same fighters are, according to al-Hasidi, “today on the front lines in Adjabiya” fighting against Moammar Gaddafi’s forces.  al-Hasidi also made positive comments about al-Qaeda during the interview as the Telegraph reports:

maybe more maybe less but to say they're all Al Queda is a stretch

That's one guy, retard. You think they all answer to him? My, my, are you a fool.

But it's cool that you set a limit on the number of jihadists/terrorists that it's OK to work alongside of. I didn't think it was possible for you to come off anymore retarded than you already do but thanks for proving me wrong.

I guess like obamanomics being WTF so the same goes for his foriegn policy.

By the way - other than appointing immelt to head the jobs policy - have we heard a word from obama on jobs in the last few months?

Hahaha, jobs. Obama has spent 2 years doing everything he can to avoid talking about them.

Everybody is behind us now, Blacken? No. Not even close. Bush had more international and domestic support for Iraq than Obama does for Libya. But it's good to know that the jihadists are behind us.

Would someone ban these shitty gimmicks already?  ::)

From multiple polling sources, you stupid fuck. Compared to every US military intervention over the last 30 years, less Americans supported intervention in Libya. And with regards to the international community, for starters, the most powerful country in Europe, Germany, isn't even on board. But hey, we've got the jihadists on our side!  ::)

Sorry to burst your little fictitious bubble, Blacken. You get owned because you make shit up and are incapable of refuting anything Chris Tingles hasn't covered.

Kadhafi forces sweep through Misrata ("Rebels" beg for more help from Obama)
Google ^ | 3/29/2011 | AFP

Tanks and troops loyal to Moamer Kadhafi swept through rebel-held Misrata on Tuesday, a rebel spokesman said as a doctor in Libya's third city put the death toll at 142 since March 18.

Kadhafi troops indiscriminately shelled Misrata, 214 kilometres (132 miles) east of Tripoli, and are preparing for a "massacre," the rebel spokesman told AFP by telephone.

"Misrata is in danger. The criminal forces are advancing on the city and the tanks are firing shells indiscriminately," he said, asking that his name be withheld.

"The massacre that was avoided in Benghazi thanks to the intervention of coalition forces will be carried out in the Misrata," the spokesman said.

The rebel stronghold of Benghazi is located 810 kilometers (503 miles) east of Misrata along the Mediterranean coast.

Western coalition forces launched a campaign on March 19 to enforce a UN no-fly zone in Libya and to protect civilians under attack and pounded Kadhafi forces in and around the rebel stronghold.

"Unlike what happened in Benghazi, coalition warplanes did not hit (Kadhafi) tanks that are already inside Misrata to avoid civilian casualties," the spokesman said.

He also spoke of a "humanitarian catastrophe" while a city doctor speaking separately to AFP said that at least 142 people were killed and more than 1,400 others injured since Kadhafi loyalists began hammering the city on March 18.

I watched a clip showing what I think was an ABC reporter interviewing some rebels while they were getting shelled. I shit you not, the reporter showed that one of the rebel's weapons was actually a plastic toy gun.

These rebels couldn't be more disorganized, inexperienced, incompetent and inept. Keep up the good work, Obama! Best keep doing the European's bidding, because as we all know, Europe is really relevant on the world stage!  ::)

Libya: An opening for al Qaeda and jihad? (Obama rebuilding Al-Qaeda one country at a time)
cnn ^ | 3/27/2011 | Paul Cruickshank and Tim Lister

The town of Derna is not much to look at -- a heap of Soviet-style concrete buildings in a deprived and windswept corner of eastern Libya.

But it has a rich history -- fought over and colonized since Roman times -- and a stunning location on the Mediterranean. It has also gained a reputation as a hotbed of jihadists. And that has diplomats and analysts asking whether the unrest in Libya might provide an opening for al Qaeda and fellow travelers, just a short hop from Europe.

Derna even made it into U.S. diplomatic cables obtained by Wikileaks. A cable from 2008 describes it as a "wellspring of Libyan foreign fighters" for al Qaeda in Iraq. High youth unemployment, discrimination by the Gadhafi regime and the influence of veteran Libyan jihadists from Afghanistan all played a role in radicalizing a new generation.

"Other factors include a dearth of social outlets for young people, [and] local pride in Derna's history as a locus of fierce opposition to occupation," the cable said. "Most young men watched a mix of al-Jazeera news, religious sermons and western action films on English language satellite channels broadcast from the Gulf. The result was a heady mixture of violence, religious conservatism and hatred of U.S. policy in Iraq and Palestine."
