Check out this video from MMA Fighting where Marquardt talks about moving to welterweight. You've got to be KIDDING ME! This guy is a monster at 185 what's he going to do cut his leg off to make weight!

He's good buddies and I think trains with GSP which makes it even stranger.  I know GSP is supposed to fight Anderson Silva, so maybe he thinks the welterweight belt will be vacant and that he can make the weight, but I agree, he's pretty fucking jacked to make that weight.  Who knows though, Anthony Johnson drops from over 200 lbs and makes it.  Melvin Guillard gets down to 155 with a lot of muscle on him, so maybe he can do it.  I just wanna see him beat the FUCKING PULP out of Michael "The girl" Bisping.

he saw him in my town about 2 years ago filming a movie

he would have to kill himself to get to 170
