An "Incredible Jerk" story from this past weekend...
« on: March 28, 2011, 08:01:06 AM »
So there was this MegaCon convention going on in Orlando, FL. that I attended and one of the so-called stars who was making an appearance was none other than Lou "The Incredible Jerk" Ferrigno. I can NOT stand the man and DON'T care for him, but I was standing in line (there was only 2 people in front of me and no one behind) so I can simply ask him if he knew anything about Pumping Iron being re-released with additional footage aside from the 25th anniversary DVD.

Anyway, the lady in front of me was next and so she had asked Lou if he would take a picture with her son and pointed to him who happened to be a kid in a wheelchair and with warp speed Lou said, "No." and shook his head. Now, normally this wouldn't surprise me 'cause I know what kinda person he is, but for him to be so cold without giving it a second thought made me a bit surprised.

Don't worry, Lou! YOU'LL GET YOURS!  >:(

Lou is constantly overshadowed by the fact that've has to go to Comic Conventions and sell pics. Think about it, his career is LONG gone...he should have other business interests. He could lend his name to a griller, a cooker, or a exercise contraption and make a killing...or a Ice Cream flavor "Lou F. Hulk Lime or some shit).

I don't know. I wasn't the fuckin' mother! Hahaha

She asked Lou; pointed to her son; he said no; so she walked outta line and whispered something to her son's ear and left with him.

Why didn't you say something to him in light of his disgusting acts?

You could have called him a worthless, piece of shit and even given him the finger..

Did you at least get close to the little kid in the wheelchair and yelled "FAIL!!" as he wobbled away?

WTF?  Where were your GetBig instincts?

As per Lou, that's typical of him, but the kid has no excuse, you should have put that kid in his place!

x2. I think Lou is bitter because he's starting to realize he's failed at life in comparison to Arnold. Lou always thought he was better than arnold because he was bigger and stuff, and he thought the incredible hulk would be the jumpstart to a huge movie business like arnold. But in the end, he's stuck standing behind foldout tables at whatever convention that will allow him to set up, waiting till the next person that remembers him comes over and asks a question. I think that's why he charges 20 dollars for a photo, to make him feel important.

He was lucky to have been given that small role on the king of queens  :-\

I will say this...

When I was asking him about the Pumping Iron DVD he was so quick to try and sell me one of his photos. Of course I just shrugged it off and said, "OK." And NO I did NOT buy one! Hahaha

I did notice though that there was a note on the desk stating you can purchase a Polaroid picture with him for $40. No thanks!  ::)

Everyone else was super nice and down to earth! Not ONCE trying to make a quick sale, but actually took the time to converse and get to know you.  :)

Hi, Lou.  ::)

I know. It seems too cold for it to be a true story, but that's exactly what happened. No BS!

I don't think they make Polaroid cameras anymore---I think they stopped making the film...
Isn't he in his 60s? Come on now, shit...he will be the Adam West of bbing.

He needs to come out with the Hulk Juicer or Big Lou's Metabolism Pills....

There should be a stand at those places where you can kick Lou in the balls for only 20 bucks a kick. He could use the money to have some more implants.

Didn't The Hulk go into syndication? So wouldn't he get paid off of that? One could have a modest living, and he could push his fat kid into being a weight trainer...

Nobody wants to see Lou at Comic Con, they want to see Ian Welling, Kristina Kruek, or the dude who plays Lex, Lionel, Green Arrow, or Sam and Dean Winchester. Or Spock, or Scotty, or Capt. Jean Luc Picard, or Capt Kirk.
