I grew up surfing in Huntington Beach douchebag ::)  And, I still get out whenever I'm down these.  For as athletic as he is, I absolutely expected him to do much better.  And, he might get away with wearing those fag shorts in the cage, but that's just ghey as fuck for the beach.

Oh well, he's still the best P4P fighter in the world.

No it's not easy.  But, you don't get up first on you knees and then one leg at a time.  You go from your stomach to your feet in an instant so that you maintain your balance.  It's crazy to see a world class athlete who has so much control over their body, struggle like that.  Also, he tries to stand up going into the wave....lol...wtf.  I'm sure if he practiced, he would be good.  Maybe BJ can show him a thing or two...

You didn't lose respect for him after he tapped out from finally taking a good shot in the head from Matt Serra?

Not at all. He's a smart fighter. Why take undo damage. He's in it for the long haul.

I'm surprise at you, MS. Dude is just having fun. As far as the shorts, he's from Canada. That practically makes him European. At least he's not wearing speedos. As far as being a world class athlete; being good at one sport doesn't mean you'll be good at another. Try getting a  world class surfer in the cage. But I have little doubt that his learning curve would be much shorter than the average Joe.

Just goofing around between beating ass in the cage and showing that MMA champs are human too and can look like dorks when outside their element. GSP is an all the way good dude.

LOL  ... good thread

call repost if ya want .. but I didn't see the video until I just read about it ... so for the next person that gets to this point and also has not seen it yet

here's the Rogan/GSP kicking exhibition .. very kewl stuff

and I'm giving him a pass for not knowing how to surf .. it's winter in Canada almost year round innit ? he trains a lot plus maybe he got the "mechanics"of surfing mistaken like his kick ... and he's given a partial excuse for the swimsuit ... it's normal for him to wear those type trunks .. and what would he know about proper attire for surfing  :)

I guess I'm all alone on this one, but I'm going to stick with my original statement: ghey ass shorts for the beach (okay for the cage) and who the fuck tries to stand up on a board going into the wave.

Still the greatest P4P, greatest welter weight of all time and I believe he would beat Silva in a super fight :)

GSP and Shields are fighting for their heterosexuality. Loser has to come completely out of the closet into the arms of Joe Rogan.
