Have you ever competed? Very impressive. I'm about your height, well I use to be, I lost about a half inch due to a compressed disc. If I could have ever gotten up to 210 at your condition I would have consider myself done and complete. No need to have gone further. I'm sure that if I knew what I know now from reading the bible 25 years ago I maybe could have done it.

no never competed and don't intend to,actually, when i started reading gh15's posts i kinda' got repulsed by the whole industry........was once 245 pounds but didn't feel good at all...........planning on staying around 210-220 while keeping my BF level low

I think pro IFBB level is too much sacrifice and too big a price to pay. But just for fun and to keep the fire going in your training doing State shows isn't so bad. Even NPC levels you don't have to kill yourself and be 275 lbs which is probably the minimum at your height.

Here in Hawaii if you win the Paradise cup or the Sting Ray classic you become something of a local celeb. That's how Brandy Leaver (sp?) got noticed here and got a contract with Weider. It can be fun if you don't take it too seriously and don't let it go to your head. I don't think Faildo (sp?) is going to win any pro shows ever but he's a big shot here in the islands for those in the game. Shavis Higa is another one that turn pro but you'll never hear about. I've met Shavis a few times and he's a good guy. Works as an electrician and trains after work. Just seems to do it for the fun of it. It's not easy working full time and being a competitive bodybuilder.

Why are people dissing this guy?? He looks pretty damn big for being clean. And thick deep pecs are genetics and drugs, don't see why everyone's ragging on him for something thats common knowledge. Its extremely hard if not impossible to overcome genetic flaws without drugs. And 99% of people on here couldn't look like him even WITH hormones. Nothing but pathetic pieces of shit haters on here..

Yes, he is begging for attention but thats why we work out in the first place. And what do you expect from a clean lifter like him? And who says having thick powerful looking arms isn't a good thing?? I'm not defending the guy but theres really nothing bad you can say about those arms since he looks to be a clean lifter to me. Any other natty or clean lifters on here with arms like that?

Groink would look good at a lower bodyfat. But, like Alex23, he seems preoccupied in how much he weighs (or how big his arm is) rather than how he looks. Instead of keeping this stuff all hypothetical, they should get into shape and then post some proper physique pics.

How about that his forearm is far too small compared to his upper arm? That's one of the basic ways to judge someones arm.
