Ok.  Than why is he withholding it?   Its like its a criminal case and he needs to plead the 5th.  If someone were making all sorts of allegations against me like this for years, so publicly, I wuld simply release the freaking thing.   How hard is that? 

Maybe you would maybe you wouldn't.  I do know this, Bama is a crafty operator.  I wouldn't put it past him that he's not hiding anything and will use it come election time.  As far as what he spent to block it.......until i see his tax return, financial records and bank records i don't put too much faith in that he paid for it with his own money. 

I will say it is likely he's is hiding something.  But evidence of him not being born here is far lacking and would lean towards many other things you and other posters have suggested.

No because the facts and issues are not the same.  You started the scenario with committing a crime:  obstructing a police investigation and tampering with evidence.

You conservatives get so black and white sometimes while libbys tend to over complicate things too much.

My main point to all of this is, his blocking of information doesn't prove he wasn't born here because many other possibilities exist.  And its unlikely that he wasn't born here because too many people and organizations stand to gain from proving he wasn't and after 2 years they have zilch evidence.  Birthers have nothing.
