Let's not forget that Thiago stated "My blood is clean," "I haven't used anything" on Feb. 10.
He only admitted what he had to when it was apparent he had no other reasonable way out. Kind of like Tiger Woods

This is what Thiago was faced with-
Option 1- Not use an adulterant and certainly be outed as a steroid user.
Option 2- Use the adulterant and claim that he was using 'injections' for his injured back and avoid the certain accusation of steroids use.
This is why I really take Silva's statement with a grain of salt and don't respect him more for it. IMO he took the best option he had.
He submitted urine with an adulterant used to mask steroids/hormones.
I would respect him more if he just pissed hot, then admitted his use of steroids or drugs. With his supplied statement, I still see 'excuses' written all over it and it's almost offensive that he expects anyone to believe it.
Even Keith Kizer said that he would have passed a normal drug screen, but the 'adulterant' used was detected when hormones in his urine were tested and came back to be 'non-human.'
It baffles me that these athletes can be so stupid to try this shit at this level when there is so much on the line. If your going to use banned substances, just make sure you can pass the tests.
