apparently a huge bust in my 'hood.. anyone hear about this?

guy next door to me is an amateur natty but trained legs with another guy up the street.  well today next door comes by and says sometime recently this guy up the street got busted for manufacturing and dist. steroids from his house.  apparently this made all the papars here (west county news, md gazette, balt. sun, etc.) but i havent seen anything.  anyone hear about a big bust recently in central maryland?  i can see a dist. charge but is it that easy to manufacture from your house?  sounds fishy.

Regardless if he was manufacturing or not a lot of the time a distribution charge will include manufacturing. A very common charge is "Felony Possession with the Intent to Manufacture and Distribute."

And yes, manufacturing from your house is not hard...happens all the time.

You know what else they found, according to the police report? Cooking oil, next to the empty glass vials in the master bedroom. I’m hoping that some silly local cop thought that a bottle of sterile oil was simply cooking oil, and Phelps wasn’t actually making steroids with the stuff (cooking oil is not sterile).

But I doubt it. Because you know what they didn’t find? Raw hormone powder. So, unless he had recently made a run, and didn’t have anymore powder on hand, it looks like this guy might have been a scammer."

I would think there's something else to this story because that doesn't seem like much of a bust or at least the type of thing gone after very often.

most officers have never did a AAS arrest before....i personaly know none that have....so they probably dont know how little they are actually dealing with...
