2011 Ford Mustang ???

Im shopping for a new toy.  I like the new mustangs. The Gt500 seems over priced.  Im not to concerned with the price.  The 5.0 looks to be a better fit for me.  I plan on turning it into a drag car after the warranty expires.   Anyone have experience with the new generation of Mustang

How about the Boss 302 Mustang (I'd say with Laguna Seca package but it seems you're not into corners).
Or get a GT and then get the Shelby GT350 package which looks amazing.

2010 and 2011 do not have the same engines.....

the 2011 5.0 4 valve coyote has a compression ratio of over 11:0.1....it not that easy to just throw 12.5 psi on it and call it reliable.....

i have 2 friends with 11 stangs....one has cam ported stock heads, and 100 shot wet....mid 10's all day...

another with full bolt ons + t trim at 10 pounds, and a lot of intake fab work to keep the charge cold....solid 10 car...

if a 2010 mustang is running 9.95 at 142mph it has a lot more than just a blower with 12.5psi

Really forged bottom end thats awesome.   I thought It was a 2010.  My bad.   I will buy whatever is available at the time I go shopping.   I got one dealership looking for me but I haven't heard back. He doesn't seem to interested in making a sale.  And ironiclaly enough I bought my last f 150 from this kid over the phone.   He doesn't have to work hard to sell me anything

when we dropped the boost back to 10psi on my buddies it was a lot easier to tune and ran solid on 91 pumpgas.....i just got back in the country so i havent had time to play with it...but we are doing a host of suspension mods this weekend...and i am going to get it into the 9's before june...i think i can do it now, but i dont think he wants me to blow his shit up..

I also have a 2007 gt 500   I bought it new drove it for 2 years. Sold it. the guy crashed it and I just bought it back for peanuts.  Needs a front clip.  maybe 5g in damage.

i sold my 03 cobra to my dad....has very mild cams, i ported the stock heads.....and a 2001 cobra intake manifold...i dumped the blower and built a turbo kit for it....96mm, and 30psi=1134rwhp.....street tune is still over 700rwhp...it just a button, and gas fill up away..

holy shit thats awesome.   Mine is a twin turbo hellion kit.  I had the heads done to stage three specs from SHM  I run a D and D v spec t56  373 gears with DSS level 5 axles.  Best time was a 10.72et

No experience, but I prefer the The Dodge Charger.  It has a more muscular body and is more stylish in my view.  I was in a three way drag race with a suped up one a few months ago ane he smoked me!  Dunno how it rides and handles but it sure can move!
