Nice guy, never overreacted to late gym dues or to women

never screwed over any of his clients

always full of positive energy explaining how gains like his are possible only on an orderly regime with moderate training and good solid adequate nutrition without the use of drugs

There's a story about steve when he had a gym some guy was overdue on membership payments. He just worked out anyway and said he'd pay it whenever. Steve went outside with a hammer or crowbar and fucked his car up on the spot - smashed the lights and the windows. The guy came out running and was like wtf. Steve was like don't worry about it, now we are even.

He grossly overtrains (look at his body in his 'heyday'), talks about how bad steroids are just because he fucked up. Now he's an advocate for 'natural' bodybuilding.

Anyone remember the Trevor Smith story? Went in to sign up at SM's gym, the pen is inside a syringe. Yeh bro great way to get new clients.

if i took as much as he did, lived the bodybuilding life style( spent all day in gym, no job) and looked as mediocre at the end of it all i wouldnt be a happy chappy

Steve Michalik, Mr. Universe 1975, shudders to recall his bad old days as a skin-popping juice pig. Anadrol, Dianabol, and other steroids had taken him to the title, but Michalik noticed that his body had begun to plateau. Upping his dosage to Presleyan proportions, he still couldn’t pack on the meat mass he craved. So he struck out for the hardcore fringe in search of the next big thing.

He found it in a monkey’s head, drinking the hormone-rich goop that flowed out of the hypothalamus gland. (It seemed like a good idea at the time.)

Michalik is the first to admit he was pretty far gone by the time he started snacking on monkey brains. When he wasn’t throwing people through windows or bashing trucks in with 300-pound railroad ties, Michalik pimped for the physician who supplied him with his precious black-market prescriptions.

Aspiring bodybuilders “had to find out sooner or later that the road to the title went through Dr. X’s office,” Michalik told the Village Voice in 1991. With the doctor’s lock on such high-end supplements as Primobolan and Parabolin, “nobody was gonna get to be competition size unless they put out for him.” In exchange for a stack of steroid scrips, Michalik brokered love connections for the doctor with a string of title hopefuls.

The doctor’s drugs were so powerful, “you felt them immediately in your muscles,” Michalik recalled.

And then there were their sexual side effects, including almost constant erections. “One of my friends, a former Mr. America, used to get so horny on tour that he’d fuck the Coke machine in his hotel,” Michalik said. “Swear to God, he’d stick his dick right in the change slot and bang it for all he was worth.”

Yeah, right. In other words, he gave it up!

you didn't catch the irony in my post. I said at the end of it "i wonder how many people would catch everything in this".

Everything in my post is the exact opposite of what the truth is:

Michalik is a mean guy, who overreacted to a guy that owed late gym dues by smashing his car (and threw a couple of guys through the front window of his gym). He also choked Bev Francis.

He screwed over one of his biggest clients (the client posted the story on Ironage). Also about how he was cheating on his wife.

He hates everybody. His regime is not orderly, he trains way too much, his nutrition advice is by far inadequate, and he used steroids like crazy, even eating monkey brains to get the GH. His pillow would be soaking in blood each night from the nosebleeds. He also got a lot of medical problems through the years that he blames on steroids
