(CNN)–Former Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura says Sarah Palin will be the GOP nominee for president in 2012, and she'll "be controlled by the status quo."

Appearing on CNN's "Piers Morgan Tonight" Monday at 9 p.m. EST, the one-term Reform Party governor said that former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is being groomed for the role, though he doesn't care who the presidential nominees are for either party.

"I'm an equal opportunity despiser," he stated in a post-interview green room Q&A, making his disdain for both parties known.

"It seems that elections today are more popularity than they are substantial issues and she'd be perfect because she's the type of person that certainly will be controlled by the status quo and the power structure, so she'd make a perfect candidate for them," the WWE wrestling Hall of Famer-turned-politician declared.

Palin does have the inside track to win the nomination.  He's right about that.

In 2008, despute being a 'maverick', she wholeheartedly embraced and worked to sell TARP, even though she later claimed to disagree.  She also changed her position on Capping Emissions in 2009 when that became unpopular.  She said it was man-made, remember?


So he's probably right that she'd be controlled by her handlers.  She'd take what positions are popular.   

And he's probably right that it's just a damn popularity contest.  hearing 333386 say that he'd vote for the pro-AWB, pro-obamacare Trump over 'milk toast pawlenty' shows me that some voters just want to be entertained, nothing more.

^Have you done any research into 9/11?  Don't criticize it until you've done some real research into what happened that day.  Did you know 7 of the 19 hijackers are still alive and well?  Did you know that NORAD stood down?  Jesse Ventura is a lot more sane than the idiots that are running our country now.

This runs contrary to the official story of 9/11.  But he's just another CTer, eh?  ;)

Actually, I have done some research.  I recently read "The Looming Tower:  Al-Qaeda and the Road to 9/11."  If you want to know the history of Al Qaeda and the events leading up to 9/11, you should read it.  I've also read the 9/11 Commission Report (all of it).  I'd recommend you read that too.   

And yes, I'll criticize the dummies who embrace that stupid CT.  It's insulting to the family members who lost loved ones.  Next to the faked moon landing conspiracy, it's the stupidest theory I've ever heard.  Take note that no reasonable, intelligent person is talking about it.  Even Ron Paul asked the 9/11 CT nuts to stop supporting him. 

I've about exhausted my 2011 quota for talking about this stupid stuff.

^ I've read the 9/11 commission, it mentions nothing of WTC 7 and how it collapsed.  6 of the 10 commissioners stated that there was a cover up of ome degree, Max Cleland resigned in disgust of the cover up by the bush administration.  It is not CT nut stuff, there are serious questions that still are unanswered.

No offense to you Beachbum for serving our country..However, How do you explain the massive amount of Put options on the airlines stocks? The options market for airline stocks wasn't exactly the most liquid market...All the sudden put option huge volume spikes in the week before the attack? The put/call ratio for United Airlines was 25 times above normal on September 6. 4...That's fucking insane..
