hands down prolly the best car under 100k that offers supercar beating performance...
The SS has 750+ hp, and the GT-R doesn't have the 2012 upgrades...
That being said, I agree with you on ownership.

In other words Godzilla vs Smog Monster. Now on top end the Shelby may prevail, now off the line the Jap cars are quick they can turn higher rpms.

The only the reason the GT-R got him was AWD. Didn't look like a real good launch for the GT500 either.  As been said before, put slicks on the GT500 (and a better driver) and watch it knock the GT-R's dick off.

And one could argue, bring out the 2012 GT-R, and still, he wouldn't have had him...notice the HP disparity on the dyno...the GT-R is just sick...for the money, nothing can touch the GT-R, not even a 750+ hp Shelby....but, the GT-R is ugly compared to the Shelby...

somehow the Mustang and it's variants are starting to look more appealing to me than the M3...imagine if they actually had a Lincoln variant of the Mustang, it would totally rejuvinate the Lincoln brand to compete with Caddy and the rest...
