Do you remember the posing routine that Tom Terwilliger did at that show,it was superb.I had the chance to train with him the following day when all the pro`s visited our gym.I think the reason Thierry never got judged fairly was due to him being a NABBA and WABBA champ before entering the IFBB.

Heaven forbid that politics rear its ugly head in a bodybuilding contest.

Remember back in the day when Nubret and Oliva were constantly suspended for competing in NABBA and WBBG events Shep?

I heard he owns a gym somewhere on the outskirts of Paris. Seems to still workout and said to be in shape. You don't only hear nice things about him though. Supposedly, he still pretends to have been natural all the way and that the only reason he didnt win the 'O was because others juiced while he was as pure as crystal.

If he had been natural, he would have undergone every test in the book for publicity.... I bet he is still in great shape though - He was a student of Serge Nubret's initially and Serge was still in incredible shape beyond 70 yrs old!

No, he looked incredible but wasn't. I foyu had been around the Rem-Gym in Paris, you would have seen how bad Nubret was already 5-6 years ago. Very starnge 'cause he could still lift and look impressive but he almost couln't walk properly. It definitely had taken it's toll on him. Pastel is said to be in great shape yes.

Last I heard a few months back was that he was finally out and in some kind of nursing home. He does seem to have some brain damage - could write and make some sense but couldn't talk. Was under 10 stone too!!!!  I should know some more news soon!

Apparently Thierry looks pretty much the same at 50 yrs old and is running a gym near Paris! Maybe he should come back for one more try or have a go at the Nabba Pro's ??
