Hard to know who to believe. I have some friends that live along the border and go into Reynosa on a daily basis. They actually own a furniture in Reynosa and moved to McCallen because of the violence. They say the media doesn't report half of the violence that actually is happening and give some pretty convincing eye witness details to car jackings for the SUV's, road blocks by the cartel members either taking vehicles and leaving the drivers stranded or dead.

Unfortunately, thats not the way it goes. There are dozens of videos posted everyday of innocents being shot and chopped up in poorer countries, and nobody cares. However, people like you are entertained by the stuff so there is an intrigued audience for it. Even in 2011, human life in worth a plug nickel which is sad. The world is a crazy place, and I want no part of it.
