A football player wears equipment so the last person to teach one how to run would be a track coach.  Not only that, a football player runs on grass and is required to change direction very quickly.


Track coaches are for people who run on a track

You do realize that most high school/College Football players run track, right?

I played and coached at an ACC & SEC school and we had 2-3 each place that did.

And the ones who did were on track scholarship who "walked on" as football players.

They more than likely already came from a track back ground. I went through this with a coach earlier thid yead, he wanted a running back to take track in his offseason, I told the kid ot wouldn't do him anygood, he's a jr and he's already running a 4.6. Bottom linen IMO, you can go from track to football but going from football to track doesn't usually work. The only thing a track coach is going to do is work on mechanics.

As a matter of a fact, a football player (RB, WR, etc) will usually have a quicker first step)

These guys are Football players that run track.

There might be 2-3 guys on a fb team who run track, hardly constitutes as "most" 
Your list represents an extreme minority of of guys who are fb players first.

Tell him to start posting on GB and he'll be running a 4.2 in no time like all the other world record holders here.
