He says it's not about calories, that's what it is about mostly.

He rather talks about insuline and that you can gain weight with little food/calories if you're in a starvation mode.

He gives an example of a diet with 50% less calories than the maintenance weight. He breaks it down to a 60% fat loss and 40% muscle loss. Body sense this and raises sensitivity level
and that will make you gain 80% fat 20% muscle with a refeeding at maintenance caloric level.

Then he also says that you basically can't get enough protein, that RDI:s are fantasies and that there is many documented benefits to very high protein diets (more bonse density, muscle mass, fat reduction etc). Then he links it back to the stone age diet and that humans aren't programmed to high carbohydrate diets.

This is all in part three which I found most interesting.

I dont tend to lose shit on keto, I have to have some form of carbs to lose fat, tried keto for 3 months and barely lost 4 pounds.

dont eat alot of meat if you want high protien that shit will NOT give you higher bone density

eskimos eat mainly meat yet have the highest rates of osteoperosis

so opt for plant protiens

Could have been you weren't really in ketosis. It's easy to bring in too many carbohydrates without realizing it if you're not careful with your food consumption. For example, nuts are a great keto diet food but carry some carbs, if you eat too many throughout the day it's very easy to throw yourself out of ketosis. There are countless examples like this one.

keto works fucking great, especially when you are on high protein.

Problem is, it turns me into a zombie in no time. Always sleepy, no energy, i forget things, want to sleep all day. And the carb cravings nearly kill me.

Maybe i should use more caffeine and other stimulants, will probably help a lot.

unsure but low range carb 20gr ,, complex carb help catabolism of stim , zero carb + cafeine = hard on muscle mass / that what i do ,, brologic,,  i still fell im in ketosis

 I have been on the palumbo diet for a few weeks and had my first cheat meal. had  last night... and buy a TON of food from the market, I could not for the life of me eat over 1000 cals in one sitting for some reason.   8)usually I can pound a ton of food within a hour but I was like wtf!? I had 2 burgers and felt like I was about to throw up.

Also simply am not getting hungry. In fact I have no appetite at all. Not even for my regular meals or even breakfast..  eating close to 2000 calories per day.  ::)

. Fat loss=energy deficit.Being in ketosis is irrelevant. You could easily take 200 calories from a palumbo diet for example than contains 1/2 cup cashews and replace it with 200 calories of rice and loose same amount of fat. Many studies show people in ketosis lost no more fat than people eating similar calorie levels. He probably just overate fat...very easy to get carried away with peanut butter for me.. ;D

Do you think this is from the diet itself? Ive heard many people say that when on keto they are never hungry.

my problem is on carb i dont stop once in low digits , i fuck my diet , i get carb addict n weight meal is annoying , keto , 300gr meat at grocery , never hungry , n dont slip ,, with carb i fail ,, fail contest diet ,, with carb i look bloated n watery ,, dieting on carb easy ,, dieting on carb til dry stage condition not evryone can do that ,, i cant ,,

If you think you can "overeat" peanut butter on a ketosis diet and that you aren't losing weight b/c your "fat" intake is too high you are wrong.  It's your CARB intake that is too high.  As someone pointed out earlier, nuts, peanutbutter, etc.  are "fairly low" in carbs, but if you eat a lot of them, you will get kicked out of ketosis. 

People who do a TRUE low carb diet have in my experience always had good results.

    totally incorrect, I do this every year for holiday. You can eat 3000 calories a day all high fat with no carbs and you will loose weight fast very fast. I loose about 4 pounds a day.
