Usually in some shows of the late 70`s,early 80`s.

I always thought that either he had that conk (perm), from back in the day, to short hair (like the famous pool pic) or bald...like he was in the 70s and early 80s.

He did have the process (early 60`s era),bald late 60`s+early 70`s) toupe`late 70`,early 80`s.

When I see some of these past guys...Mendenhall, Aranita, Rory, King, Meeko, Edgar...and compare them to the current crop of "superstars", I just shake my head and get pissed... >:(

I can't believe some of these guys weren't pro, the Mendehall dude???! holy fark!! looking better then any current
pro, the 80's is really where bodybuilding hit it's peak and died, maybe up to the early-mid 90's, now it's a bloated synthol enhanced joke.

King worked his neck 2-3 times a week on the Nautilus 4-Way Neck Machine.

One of the nicest guys you could ever meet also.

any aau and nabba guy from that 80's era,gruskin trained or promoted all had sick legs and great conditioning the guy had a   ;))eye for talent.brignole,terra,harrop,kutchuryck,deangelis,pete miller,to name a few.and king.
