What's strange is my incline max is only 70lbs under my bench, I never understand that.

whats up with all these people only losing 2-4 reps from flat to include. This is weird to me cause i've done 3 plates per side flat as high as 24 reps and i've never done more then 8 reps on incline with the same weight
There's incline at 30 degrees & then there's incline at 45 degrees & the there's ...

and without?
No idea. I don't ever max my raw bench. Plus as an equipped lifter it doesn't mean a whole lot to me. As long as my equipped numbers keep rising I'll be happy

I think the key to this is getting my left rear delt dialed in a smidge more. You see where I'm comin from on this one chief?
Understood just add about 50 more lbs to the left problem solved.

Never gone higher than 3 plates on bench. I'm around 235

I prefer dumbells anyway, better stimulation and I always remember Bob Chick saying Heavy Barbell benching has the highest probability of a pec tear.

George W. Bush could bench over 400 lbs. the day he entered the White House and the day he left.

Won't catch him bragging about it, though.

One guy is about 150 can on his absolute best day do one rep with 300.

Another is a guy calld Tomas, he is only about 185 lbs though he reps 355x3

My friend Dan is about 80kg but he benched 160kg, he is now heavier.

Another guy in my gym is about the same.

All these guys have been training for years. I do not know any 250lb guys who can bench 500. I can barely do 400 and I am 250ish.
