Where is the most romantic place you have ever been?  City?  Restaurant?  Resort? Island?  Why did you go there?  Birthday?  Anniversary?  Proposal?  Were you taken there or did you do the taking?  What made it so romantic? Huh

not really a romantic place, but...

When I was with my ex, there was a time that I looked at her and I knew that I was really in love with her.  I held her face while i kissed her and we could have been in the middle of a war zone and it wouldn't have mattered becuase it would have been the most romantic place on earth because of the moment.  I think anywhere you are at you bring the romance with you.  THe place is just the wrapping on the box.

ok, waiting to get blasted...

Didn't find Molokai all that romantic, but LOVED all the horseback riding on the Ranch.

Where did you stay?  I stayed at Molokai Ranch twice.  Absolutely loved it.  I was there about a year ago and it's literally a ghost town.  Very sad.

I'll keep Oahu.   Smiley

Turtle Bay is phenomenal.  They spent millions renovating.  I always recommend it to people who vacation on Oahu.  It's off the beaten path.  Much better than staying in Waikiki IMO.

The Lodge at the Ranch

Nice.  I stayed in the "tentalopes" down near the ocean.  Loved it.  One of the best naps of my life was in a tentalope on the ranch.   Smiley

The rodeo roundup was a lot of fun.  So were the hikes, mountain biking, kayaking, etc.  Almost got attacked by a cow while riding up one of the trails on a bike.

I'm very saddened this place has gone belly up.  I wanted to go back.  Kinda the fault of the people of Molokai though.  Right?

Not all of the people.  Just a handful of activists.  The classic cutting off nose to spite face.  They had a movie theater (where I watched that junk movie Sixth Sense), employed a lot of people, and did great things for the community.

But hey Walter Ritte got what he wanted.   Roll Eyes
