Where is the most romantic place you have ever been? City? Restaurant? Resort? Island? Why did you go there? Birthday? Anniversary? Proposal? Were you taken there or did you do the taking? What made it so romantic?

Napa trips are pretty romantic...occasion is usually Anniversary. What made it so romantic? Part could be that it's been for our Anniversary but the other part is the hotels' set-ups/ambiance etc.

not really a romantic place, but...
When I was with my ex, there was a time that I looked at her and I knew that I was really in love with her. I held her face while i kissed her and we could have been in the middle of a war zone and it wouldn't have mattered becuase it would have been the most romantic place on earth because of the moment. I think anywhere you are at you bring the romance with you. THe place is just the wrapping on the box.
ok, waiting to get blasted...

Cool. Where on Maui? Turtle Bay is phenomenal. They spent millions renovating. I always recommend it to people who vacation on Oahu. It's off the beaten path. Much better than staying in Waikiki IMO.

Nice. I stayed in the "tentalopes" down near the ocean. Loved it. One of the best naps of my life was in a tentalope on the ranch. The rodeo roundup was a lot of fun. So were the hikes, mountain biking, kayaking, etc. Almost got attacked by a cow while riding up one of the trails on a bike.

Kinda the fault of the people of Molokai though. Right?
