plus, we don't know the reason why it was denied. It could be because she didn't qualify---saying that she was scared, but didn't elaborate, or that nothing has happened yet...in most states you can't get a order on what "may happen", like you know the future---but what HAS happened. Maybe there were not any instances of abuse, or maybe she didn't fill out the paperwork properly.

Many of the people who try to obtain them, do use them as tools...the ones who do need them, are too scared to get them.

Plus, it was stupid to have the both of them in the  judge's chambers at the same time.

It happened in front of a judge, so it's really shocking and a million dollar bond is set. Had he beat the living shit out of her anywhere else including a church, daycare, girl scout camp you would be looking at $7500 bond. Judges piss me off sometimes. We spend weeks and thousands of dollars in resources to catch a burglary of vehicle suspect only to see him get a low bond and a short sentence. In fact, career burglars in Travis Co Texas have weighed the odds and sentence and choose to continue commiting the crimes even while out on bond. BUT...let a judge be the victim of a burglary of vehicle and they suddenly understand... and the bond goes way up..

As I said, let that happen in MD, especially in certain counties...he'd be looking at a Hold Without Bail. And if it happened on the street, it could be 20k-350k bond...

my X-brother in law a vietnamese-american who is a army ranger once told me... what happens inside the walls of the army base stays in the army base... meaning beat the shit out your wife inside the wall not outside.. oustide we cant protect you inside its all good get a few days in the MP jail or get sent off to another mission

From what I've seen unofficially the US military condones domestic violence...you have dudes who damn near kill their significant others or beat the daylight out of them, and they get "counseling" or something similar, and the shit happens again..

Worthless pieces of shit should be used as piranha bait, yet they hide behind themilitary
