verizon phios .. not sure how fast but now im even more confused why one site would be slow on this new pc and my old POS laptop upstairs.  had a buddy check his and says it's working fine.  could it be my ip?  why would it be slow just at this house?  this doesnt make any sense.

I had a customer who complained of frequent "bog downs" while gaming online...The problem turned out to be that AT&T internet service has error checking,...which is great normally, but would cause action to bog down on online gaming.

Fios is fiber to the premises, meaning that the optical fiber actually leads to your house which s good because the only thing that can affect fiber is physical destruction of the fiber...that and power failures.
