Gamers,

I just bought my nephew (14 yr. old) a PS3 for his birthday. I promised him that I would buy him at least 3-4 games to get him going for the next few months before he starts to bother my brother for more games.

Which are the most popular games in the market for this console?

That's what he wanted for his birthday. I don't know anything about those consoles or their networks, I only play online poker and that's as high tech as I like to go.

Any suggestions?

Need for speed hot pursuit is an excellent game, suitable for ages. My other suggestion is Just cause 2, it's an open world action game, you can practically do anything and it's really hard to get bored with it.

Those two games are definitely recommended and I don't see how they won't suit anyone. Check em out on youtube.

Yes! Madden is a must also.

I like going into the store and getting a reciept.

If you do it on-line....well, i guess i am old and just like to have that receipt in my hands, ya know. You just show them the receipt and he picks up the game.

That's where I purchased the PS3 for him.

I swear you must be a certified game geek to work in those stores. The young man that assisted me knew everything about the PS3 and the many games on display. He told me that he has personally played all of the games himself. I asked him if he owned the games and he just winked.

This looks pretty entertaining. I was very taken by the many game covers. I hope the display up front is as good or better than what is seen in the game.

Damn, he is one lucky ass kid. Just ask what Genera of games he likes. I do not know what is the most popular, but you can never go wrong with any EA sports games.
