Do you honestly think there is one American General who really wants women in the military or any where near a war zone? All they do is complicate shit.
I can't comment on whether or not any General wants women in the military. I imagine when it comes to non combat roles they fulfill an important mission. My brother is a Lt. Colonel in the Army and life long military. He holds fast to the position that there are many qualified and competent women doing very important jobs in the service.
I don't think anybody can deny this but say we do a simple thought experiment using the either or/all or nothing argument. Would it be possible for us to have the best military force that we could possibly have having just women? And all female military? Would it be possible for us to have the best military force that we could possible have having just men?
No one believes that an all female army would even be remotely effective. And though I do believe there are many competent women in the military I also believe that for every one of them they could still be easily replaced by a man. We would sacrifice nothing having solely an all male military. This is not to say that women have no place in the fighting forces but lets not fool ourselves. Having women in the military, especially in combat roles, is not a necessity but merely an accommodation to the current politically correct culture that is slowly crushing us and if left unchecked will inevitably lead (is leading) to eroding our position as a super power.
