It's hard to own someone when he didn't even win his weight class at the national level. He got his pro card under the CBBF strange rules that allows them to give a pro card to someone (other than the overall winner, who gets one automatically) whom they think deserves a pro card.
Scott Milne got his pro card the same way. That's ridiculous. At least in the USA, you have to at least win your class at a national show to get a pro card.
It's not that he couldn't have won the Canadian Nationals. But, he should have done that before getting his card.
