I'm seeing it more and more. In the workplace and in relationships. Nice guys get totally trampled.

People take advantage of the nice guy, he's always willing to to help, or willing to listen.

The arrogant, ruthless alpha usually bullies his way to the top of the ladder in the boardroom and the bedroom

Yep, totally. I've been saying that alot lately, seeing examples of it all the time on a daily basis. Makes me dislike people more and more.

Boosts mom is quite the guzzler, I hear she likes to go to the sperm bank, and when they tell her shes too old to conceive, she says 'thats ok' and pulls a straw out of her purse.

You can be nice but tough when it counts. Tough balancing act but it can be done. The term "nice guys finish last" speaks to inner weakness and yes those types do always finish last.

I agree with this.

Always give the impression you would do anything for anybody but once someone crosses the line and asks you to basically be a chump then put them in their place.

Sometimes being a nice guy can get you ahead.

If you move to a small town, being a nice guy will get you great connections and open doors. People will open up to you and things will happen.

In a big city being a nice guy gets you nowhere. Just trample anyone you can and do whatever you gotta do. But if you do this in a small town you will get ostrasized from the community.

Same with relationships. Usually it's best to just be cutthroat and do what you gotta do. But sometimes being nice will get you what you want.

Both ways are good in different situations.
