been watching the coverage on all channels, abc, cbs, nbc, msnbc, cnn, and even fox "ahem, news" and i've noticed only fox on their headlines on the screen keep spelling bin laden's first name as Usama not Osama?

i thought his name Was Osama? is this wrong? any reason why only fox is spelling his name this way and no other organization?

Go to ask.metafilter.com and type in Usama. There is a discussion on this. The FBI uses Usama, Usama uses (used) that spelling and many news outlets just refused to change their style plates to mach the transliterrated name difference. No Biggie. Conspiracies aside.
