Came across some old pics recently I wanted to share with u guys. That was a german amateur who went to jail for 2 years. Cold turkey off all drugs, basically "protein-free" nutrition and he had no chance to workout except for the last 6 months he was allowed to train for 30 minutes per week in the shittiest weight-room you can imagine. The pics on the right were one day after his release, still looking better than 90 % of getbiggers.

Is there really something like genetics? gh15 is allowed to comment as well.

Yep, genetics rule.

Even with all the drugs in world, you won't change bad muscle insertions, bad shape, no veins, your height (length of limbs, muscles)... It all comes down to genetics.
You look like shit even on gear if you were born with shitty genetics. No way around this.

That was my point. After 2 years of no drugs, no BB nutrition (hardly any protein etc.), no supplements and no mentionable training that guy still looks better than a lotta guys "living" BB 24/7.

Must really be genetics I guess.

Yeah, could have been a pro, but didn't care enough. Plus he had a major brain damage, trust me. Was also on tons of recreational drugs, sleeping pills and anything else you can get your hands on, dude was a complete mental wreck.

This guy was definitely lifting hard in jail.

In jail you are pissed off and like a dog in a cage. You ldo pushups and situps and pullups and dips like a madman to unleash that aggression. You roll up your mattress and tie a hirt around it, do curls, raises and squats with it.

You put your mattress in the corner of the room and just beat the shit out of it and kick it. Use it as a punching bag.

You do what you gotta do to unleash that aggression before you beat someones face in and get into even more trouble. And this guy was in for 2 years. That's a long time in jail.

And that is undoubtedly a valid point.

I remember a long time ago a kid came with his father to our local gym, he was skinny and showed no signs of even average genetics, the kid had zero bodybuilding knowledge and trained like a complete moron (the gym was small so everyone knew each other). A couple of months later this kid mutates and pawns yours truly (2 years training)

Damn ! I'm impressed ! Obviously in prison there's not a vast array of equipment to choose from in regards to training ... however, that's a pretty DAMN GOOD physique on the right. Again, I'm impressed. He obviously ( unlike SO MANY others in our " sport " ) has the right genetics for bb'ing.

I am a long time reader/lurker...
I knew Boris, very cool guy! Was huge in person, And always helpfull to other "athletes".
He was not natural in that pic, lol! the guy blew out his thyroid when he was young.
So he always was on some type of thyroid meds. Also the last part of his sentence he could sit out in germany.
Where the food is not that bad, and where he could proberbly get some form of trt.
He did use everthing under the sun and then some, when asked by me what his stack was he told me "you should do what i tell you to do, and not what i do. And yes he did like rec drugs... speed , the guy was always on the road going from gym to gym... in his vw passat vr6.. lol!
And he is still on probation, so he can not use steroids, participate in contest etc etc.. lives in sweden.
He was a very funny guy. and did not have brain damage, actually he was very smart. Crazy but smart.
And english is not my first language, so excuse me...
