Welfare / Freeloader labeling
« on: May 03, 2011, 06:11:56 PM »
I think it is just the rich people who label people as such and also poor and middle class people who are jealous they cannot qualify for these great programs many fortunate poor qualify for.  I sense a lot of jealousy when people call other people who get money for free from the government freeloaders or welfare leeches.  The freeloaders and welfare receipts are living the life the people working there life away wish they could :)

Yeah, good logic you have there ::) Coming from the guy who wants to rob, and loot rich people. How does it feel to know you're an inferior POS coming on these boards bitching ever second of your life that you see people better than you banging super model girls, driving ferrari's, multiple mansions, yachts/cruises... Must suck to be you!

Who and where do all these gimmicks come from?? Seems a bunch have been popping up out of nowhere ::)

 I agree.

The system is fucked up. Might as well exploit it any way you can and get any cash you can get.

Lots of Americans are just brainwashed into being work-machines. And they've been brainwashed to hate people who don't share their workaholic attitude.

It's pretty funny coming from someone who ran to Asia, where a lot of countries are right up there (and in some cases higher) than America in terms of annual hours worked. If I'm not mistaken, Koreans work more hours per year than any other country on the planet.

You must be pretty poor over there.

I work about 55 hours per week right now actually.

But I don't hate on people who choose to live a life of liesure and relax all day.

Swing and a miss! Try to quit huffing that paint so you can keep up son. You seem like see things in a very simple way.

Besides. I never said that I like the country I live in now. The truth is I think this country kinda sucks. But I built my own little good life here, I travel out of the country often, and i'm moving to a new country in a few months.

I totally support welfare, social security, etc.

a lot of people genuinely need it,

you never know when you might get injured, fired, disabled.  the way the economy is, you might be next.

but it does need some cleaning up as does the whole economy

If people think hard enough, everyone is disabled. There are programs that many people do take advantage of.  >:(

Exactly. I know a few people who have been on / recieve Social Security(SSI/SUPPLEMENTAL SECURITY INCOME) SSI is only for people who truly/genuinely have severe mental disorders or a physical disability that keeps them from attaining stable and longterm employment.

You know how many people I have met that say, "I'm on disability", yet I see no disability, and yet they but illegal drugs, but don't work? Tons...or what about the people who have "handicap" signs in their cars, and they get out and walk, sometimes run into the store/bank...
It's a joke...a bunch of people who scam you and me out of money...

Exactly. Its all those CONARTISTS/SCAMARTISTS who have absolutely nothing wrong them who try and FAKE having some kind of mental illness' or physical disability, wearing a neckbrace, etc........who take advantage of SSI and other GOVERNMENT FUNDED PROGRAMS. Again, like i said i know people who have been on/recieve social security(SSI). One person im speaking of is a real good friend of mine who ive known since i was 8 years old, hes been on SSI Disability for about 7 years for having pretty bad SCHIZOPHRENIA. Then theres also SSDI-SOCIAL SECURITY DISABILITY INSURANCE. My father actually recieved SSDI back in 2004, he had a real bad blood clot in his leg, and didnt work for a whole year because of it, and he applied for/recieved SSDI. SSDI is more for " short-term disabilitys", you simply get compensated for the TIME PERIOD you were out of work.

I am quite satisfied with my life, I am not chasing after car's or mansion's and excessive material things like you do, you can label me what you want, I am happy with myself whatever you call me doesn't really matter the label, I am happy and that is all that matters.  You could call me a serial rapist, fine by me, I am happy.

You are a capitalistic person I can tell, have bought into all that non sense of living the dream of cars and mansions, you will die chasing the dream, never obtaining it because the people that sold you that dream have it setup that way, you work your ass off for them your whole life paying taxes like a good little boy and then boom heart attack too much work.  Wasted your life chasing money.

Having a career is great. I have three great careers.  8)

But if I meet a grocery store clerk, or a janitor, or a McDonalds worker, or someone who's unemployed, i'm not gonna have a holier than thou attitude towards them.

I judge people on the quality of their character, not the quality of their job. I can have 100% respect for a homeless person if their character is worthy.

"You are not your fucking job."

exactly, they are also brainwashed by conservative media outlets like Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Fox News, all of these people, entities, millionaires and beyond that accepting any kind of assistance from the government and your a freeloader moocher, more like they don't want their taxes to go up so they can build another mansion.  The rich are pretty easy to figure out.

No one is hating on you having a career or taking pride in earning a paycheck, many welfare, unemployed and food stamp receivers could care less, and I doubt they would ever label you something for working.

The US government is cracking the whip on us and making us work like ants.

Instead of forced labor like the slave days, they use propaganda and social engineering, they use the media, to make us WANT to work our lives away.
