at the time i didnt know it was overtraining and it worked for me 
and im not talking going in the gym and doing curls 
eg the man than i used to train with older big guy
 would do back and shoulders on one day
so back would be 5 sets of deads, 4 sets of barbell  rows, 4 sets of dumbell rows , 4 sets of chins, 4 sets of pull downs, 4 sets of seated row, 4 sets of hyperextensions
... THEn 
4 sets of military presses 
4 sets of dumbell presses
4 sets of lateral raises
4 sets of front raises
4 sets of rear lateral raise
 shrugs
so what ever development ive posted here
