I couldn't finish it.

I had to break it into 2 parts... beginning and end.

It wasn't really that good to be honest.

The visual effects were cool, but they would have been better served putting the "mind scenes" into one stand alone movie without all of the "mental hospital stuff".

The Awakening (2011) - not full of cgi spookies and tons of jump scares. although there's one or two good ones. no, it's a really solid, good old fashioned ghost story/mystery.

there is a twist in the story that was pretty unnecessary i thought. but it doesn't take much away from a pretty solid film.

I took my wife to see Mirror Mirror today. It was entertaining but nothing I can recommend. See it on TV in a week or two.

Just watched the film, Incredibly Loud and Extremely Close tonight. OMG, I cried my friggin eyes out. I have become such a pussy....is that a sign of old age? Well needless to say the story blew me away.

It was surprisingly funny and somewhat gross, in my opinion.
