The banking world is going to slowly rape this country for the next 40 years so there is still some time to have fun.

You watch though- ain't no accident kids today can think of NOTHING but sex and what they can spend their (and their parents) money on. The people calling the shots are literally devouring this country and taking what they can get, while they can.

Generation nothingness is not accidental.

what do you refer too with "crazy world", the natural laws of physics?

because remember, that's the only thing happening.

I agree. Political and economic forecasts for the future are pretty fucking bad too.

But I think food, oil, and water shortages are gonna bring the chaos much sooner.

I'd say around 2025 we are gonna start to see some real horrible stuff.

This Earth can't sustain 8 billion human beings. It'll last another decade or two and then lots of people will die.

 Where society is going.

Where most people's mindset and priorities are at.

 What's happening on this Earth.

It's all bad. It can't keep going like this. The party is gonna end soon.

Be thankful we live in a country of consumers. The ones who decide who lives and dies want to keep us around. Other countries like africa are fucked.

Also it will be water around 2025 that becomes the first crisis. Unless we can cheaply desalinize sea water we may be in for some serious hurt.

I am talking millions around the world dying of dehydration and doing anything and everything they can to survive.

Remember, you can walk if there is no gas, starvation happens very slowly, but when it comes to water we need that shit daily. If water gets low, the panic will be overwhelming. I do not want to see that. I also do not want to see millions dying of thirst, that is fucking shitty.

cant sustain 8 billion based on what?

That's just wrong. Who done a number on you?

I think it can sustain 30 billion human beings, at the very least.

 It's coming.

Some people still seem to think that things can just keep going as they are right now forever, but they're wrong. The house of cards will fall.

In the next few years i'm gonna get some land in a remote area and build and cabin.

I used to laugh at survivalism wierdos who stockpiled food and owned like 20 guns. But now I think being like that is a smart thing to do considering the shit that's happening out there.

How can you think this Earth can support 30 million? That's insane.

There's just not even enough arable land on this Earth for that. Not enough water. Not enough fuel.

Have you ever really studied environmental science? I'm sorry but that statement is just bullshit.

Idk, the doomsayers have predicted that shit for decades and it hasn't happened yet.

There are a couple big signs to watch out for- #1 when people cannot buy milk and bread at the grocery store. The entire country is pacified, we always sit around saying how much we hate the country but let's be real, as long as the nation can easily and cheaply feed itself we are cool. When inflation hits and milk is $20 a gallon and regular jobs still pay like $10 an hour you can expect things to get ugly FAST.

#2 is another world war. Trust me nations aren't going to battle for no reason. If you see major countries (china india for example) going at it, ignore the bs reason they give because shit doesn't happen for no reason. Wars of the future will be fought for resources so as long as things are cool do not worry. When shits going down that is when you need to worry.

And like I said we have another 20-30 years.

Do you realize the amount of animals being sustained for consumption right now alongside human beings? Only in USA 660 000 animals are slaughtered per hour for consumption.

20 vegetarians can live off the land required by one meat eater, and you wouldn't have to sustain billions of animals for consumption, on top of that you would free up huge amount of land and food.

you would even reduce the total number of mammals, even with 30 billion people on the planet, if enough went vegetarians.

energy can be produced with minimal environmental load

People are too greedy. Corporations are running amok. Consumerism and plastic one-use society is out of control. It's NOT gonna stop. It just keeps raging forward.

People are not gonna start consuming less and slow down. Corporations aren't gonna stop polluting and expanding. People aren't going to stop destroying to Earth to make money.

Oil is runnng out but we keep on charging forward. Water shortages are looming.

Mankind is basically just going to pollute itself into near extinction.

I really don't think mankind is gonna "go green" and "go vegetarian" and save itself. I think that's total BS. It's way too little, way too late.

This Earth can only support about 2 billion people sustainably. And that's at the MAXIMUM. About 1 billion to have a healthy environment.

You are talking food alone. You are forgetting about water land as well as pollution and waste.

Trust me, you do not have a clue what will happen if the population reaches 30 billion. The population that we have now is already too much, the more people we add the less time we have. It is that simple.

Yes, I believe you are right in that it wont happen, but still think it is possible.

The problem is 100% psychological, people are simply to afraid to change their lives enough, to have to do things another way.

 Exactly.

The factories and power plants needed to sustain 30 billion people. The amount of househould goods and electronics that would need to be made. The amount of fuel burned everyday. The amount of pollution to the environment. The amount of species driven to extinction and the environmental chain reaction.

30 billion people would eat this world up in short time. Drive half the species to extinction and totally destroy the whole food chain.

But what do you think all these billions of animals we slaughter for consumption eat and drink during their lifetime? Use in terms of land for occupancy, energy for transportation,  land and water for their food production. The waste and pollution from each animal during its lifetime, the slaughter waste etc.

you would free all that up, and they consume way more than humans.

I agree. Huge scale meat industry is a major damage to the environment because it takes a LOT of grains to raise those animals, and to get those grains they have to turn more land into farmland. Which means destroying more native habitat, sprawling out further.

But this is just like 1% of the problem. It's a drop in the bucket with all the other things also happening.

There is almost 1.5 billion cattle now, they require 10000+ per day calories each.

Imagine if all those calories became available for humans consumption instead, and that's just cows alone.

One cow contains  514000 calories. Grown for 2 years using 13000 calories per day. A consumption of 9477000 calories per life with one leap year included. which gives us... worthless turnover, basically.

A loss of 9477000 - 51400 calories, that just becomes null and void, turned into a carcass and methane gas.

every time you buy meat you're taking food from some starving kid

wake up! it's only our self that can do anything about it.

so basically you are cannibalizing your own species to do this meat eating.

For example UK buy grains from poor countries were people don't have enough to eat, just to feed all their slaughter animals so they can eat at McDonald. it's very good if you can take responsibility all the way.

that's how you chose what world you want.
