This is not a fault of the teachers or any education entity... This is the parents fucking fault.

As Chris Rock said... If your kids can't read it's momma's fault... if the kids can't read cause there's no lights on in the house that's daddy's fault.

If kids can't read it's their god damn parents fault for letting them not know how to read... It's not the government's fault that a kid can't read, nor a teacher's fault... It's the damn teacher's fault if they pass the damn kid who can't read, but that's all.

This is just putting the blame and pointing fingers... Isn't that what liberals do?

er....no..this is not what liberals do....Liberals simply point out the mitigating circumstances  and don't try to stick their head in the sand and pretend that everyone is the same and that all you have to do is pull yourself up through your bootstraps....

some supposed liberals go overboard and start making excuses for people but the vast majority don't and just acknowledge that society does not treat everyone equally which should be the goal

Seems to me that's all that ever goes on in the educational debate.  Teachers blame administrators and parents, administrators blame teachers and parents, parents blame administrators and teachers  (at least it appears to me that way sometimes).

And, they've all got the solution!  I've yet to talk with someone in education who doesn't know how to fix the problems.  And yet, they never get resolved...

thats because everyone is afraid to stick their necks out...and no one wants to work harder....kids don't want to work harder...they would rather just get by and play video games and text their friends ll day....parents so don't want to work harder because that would mean they would actually have to parent and deny their kids their goodies and they don't want to be the bad guys..teachers don't want to do more because its not in their contract
