greatest band ever to walk the earth ever and will never be surpassed... pure songwriting talent, ruined by a crazy Asian woman

i love the stones, but they wrote alot of crap along side there amzing songs, such as paint it black etc

very good point....I always wonder what would have happened had the Beatles kept going just like the stones and John wouldn't have been shot.,..with the technology today their songs would have been really good

a little known fact was that the beatles formed in 1960 and toured (mostly in germany) for about 3 or so years before they recorded an album. this consisted of multiple shows a day, about 7 days a week.

they were a veteran performing band before recording their first album.

some of their songs were shitty (mostly from the earlier days), but laster on they would record some of the greatest music ever.

they only recorded actively for 6 years, and if you viewed their work, no two songs sound alike yet 3 seconds into each you know it's a beatles song.

let's have 'nsync put out a "revolver".

Theyre clearly the greatest band ever.If anyone who says they suck would actually listen to all of their albums they would know why.I love when people say a band sucks just because theyve heard a few singles on the radio or MTV, rather than actually hearing an album.Kinda immature...I dont really think Led Zeppelin had great singles but i wouldnt say they suck based on that.Thats just gay

Yeh like someone said, 6 or 7 years recording music and prodeuced pretty much 2 albums per year written by themselves.Now show me a band these days or since who release even an album every 2 years where there last album is as good if not better than any before....

The Beatles were the best of the best. As someone already said the Chairman of the Board, Frank Sinatra called Harrison's "Something" the "greatest love song ever written". Coming from the premier voice of the twentieth century, that says a lot.

The Beatles are my favorite traditional popular music group. They defined not only a genre of music, but an entire generation as well. I don't mind at all that some people don't like their music. Shit, I can't abide cRap, Hip Hop, Country or any number of different types of what passes for music both now and in the past.

A century from now the music of the Beatles will still be played and enjoyed. Lady GagMe? Fuck that noise.

I was talking with an 18 year old girl about music, and it turns out she has never heard of Jimi Hendrix, never heard of Led Zeppelin, and doesn't know what woodstock was. And she "hates the Beatles"

It's a mistake to think that future generations will know or care about classic rock.

These guys were just so talented.....even Ringo wrote and sang songs......Many have said that Ringo is the greatest rock drummer of all time....all of the other Beatles said that Ringo 's drumming was the glue that held their songs together....thats why when he quit they begged him to come back and even bought him a room full of flowers upon his return

Going deeper into their discography is partly what ruined them for me. There are some absolute shockers on albums like The White Album. Listening to their contemporaries is also a way to lower your opinion of the beatles. Songs like All Along the Watchtower (jimi hendrix's version) make the beatles songs of the same year sound like grandma music.

I've noticed that a lot of bodybuilding and weightlifting videos on youtube tend to have very loud, aggressive heavy metal music (the antithesis of beatles music), so i wouldn't expect the average bodybuilder to be into their stuff anyway.

Hold on.........You must only like loud aggressive music if youre a serious bodybuilder.My last 10 years of training since 15 must have been a waste of time because ill never be a serious bodybuilder because of my music tastes LOL man you need to come out your room more.
