He's white, not gay, not too short, not too christian, US-American, big and not controversial at all.

All the other contestants have some "flaws" that make them even less marketable.

Thats the whole thing with Cutler, he only looks good in pictures posing in contest shape. In real life he does not have a desired bodybuilder look or structure. Pictures are deceiving, and a good bodybuilder should look good in every angle even when they're not posing on stage. Cutler looks like shit in his usual basketball jersey and shorts in person, but in that pic he looks 'great' I guess..
