Yeah....when his left arm was one tendon away from falling off his body  ::)
Groink , even with one arm he was still better then everybody else on that stage....
it really only showed in the fdb pose and bdb pose.
i do agree 94 and 95 were his worst showings though.
but still nobody touched him....

Better than dorian ever was. Hope that helps.
more aesthetic yesss sure...
but bodybuildingwise flex had nothing on dorian, not even close!
flex had a narrow waist sure... but also narrow ass clavicles!
so the Vtaper on dorian was for more extreme.
also many knock on dorians arms, well they were not his strong bodypart, but flex had lumps of oil for biceps and triceps.
no contest really, flex was smaller and less conditioned.
only bb to ever rival and even beat dorian , is ronnie....
these 2 guys set new standards, not a good thing per se, but they did.

Saying Dorian's taper was more extreme than Flex's is a joke...I would've loved seeing Dorian hit that kneeling down double biceps pose and seen how he looked.....wait I think he did and looked like a block.

Flex did not have oil in his arms in 1993, I think he started in 99 or maybe a little earlier, but not 93. Dorian's arms sucked period.

Flex was smaller yes, but looked 10x better, better symmetry and aesthetic.

Less conditioned? Not at the 93 ASC, at least not by much in my opinion.

Truth is many people say if Flex had shown up at the 93 Olympia like he did at the Arnold he would've won. And freaking Dorian got lucky Flex didn't compete in 94 & 97.

lol , glad your not a judge....
dorians taper was very very very extreme... wide ass back! and in proportion a very smal waist.
flex had clavicles of a kid!  The v taper starts at the shoulders.. so you need width!!! flex did not have that like doz... as in narrow clavicles.. then the back... doz his back blows flex his back away...
you like the look of flex better, sure i can agree with that. all a matter of opinions.
but bodybuildingwise.... yates kills flex...
anyway, yates has 6 sandows...
proves my point.
in 93 flex indeed had not used oil..... it was esiclene at that time..
later he used oil.

Yates was the most dominant pro bodybuilder of all time with only 2 losses (you could argue Arnold as well).  Let's not be silly enough to compare Flex to Dorian.

the only bodybuilder that it is even sensible to compare to dorian, was ronnie and that was just 3 times 03 olympia 99 olympia and his physique at the arnold he won, thse are the only times a physique even came close to the shape the big diesel displayed at any of his olympia wins.
