I think he was ,prime v prime, Ali was floored and beaten by Frazier, Tyson was faster,bigger,stronger,more powerful and basically better than Joe Frazier. I think Tyson 88 beats Ali 71.
I'd still give Frazier the edge.
Throughout his career he was half-blind in one of his eyes due to a training accident and this was not even a major problem for his career until his final fight against Ali in Manilla, where the swelling in his good eye was so bad it he couldn't see out of it. Forcing him to fight half blind!
Even then, he has said he was willing to fight the final round with Ali even it killed him!
Tyson may have had more muscle and perhaps power but Frazier had incredible stamina and
heart.
And he could withstand a
lot of damage.
