Hogans tweeted that they had just started talking again after over 10 years, i would be shocked if TNA let this go by without anything.

wonder how many Getbiggers have quietly done a Macho Man impersonation to themselves since the news broke  :)

the sad thing is that Vince is gonna make a killing off of the Anthology DVD he put out a couple a years ago this week because of Randy's Death even though he hated randy

fuck you WWE

however, that aside, may Randy Savage rest in peace.  Truly a icon passed away

i just hope the WWE doesn't do some queer tribute this week.

It's like, you (the WWE) should have recognized him while he was still alive....

I swear, if I see john Cena do his "marine salute" to the memory of Randy Savage at the end of RAW I will break something

Sad to hear the news. Macho Man was one of my fav. as well. Always enjoyed his interviews. :(
I actually met him  once when he was  lifting with Lex Lugar at the Golds gym in Charlotte years ago.
Really funny , cool guy in person and worked out pretty hard with Lex from what I saw.
Obviously, I didn't tallk too much to him and was just a fan.
I was still working out when they were done and he gave me and 3 others guys a signed pic on his way out.
He just said a simple ,here ya go and told us to come on out and see the show that weekend .

I am biased from that brief experience , but I always felt he was one of the coolest guys in pro wrasslin'.
Rest in peace macho man, you will be missed.

from WWE's website:

WWE is saddened to learn of the passing of one of the greatest Superstars of his time, Randy Poffo, a.k.a. Randy “Macho Man” Savage. Poffo was under contract with WWE from 1985 to 1993 and held both the WWE and Intercontinental Championships. Our sincerest condolences go out to his family and friends. We wish a speedy recovery to his wife Lynn. Poffo will be greatly missed by WWE and his fans.

IMo that should read of all time

still very petty condolence for someone who was a legit cultural Icon.  I hope they write something for fitting later on because they (the WWE) usually do one of these three sentence jobs whenever someone dies...but savage wasn't some midcarder

honestly though, i'm probably the last person to ask because i'm not cutting any slack to the company that wants to eliminate the word "wrestling" when the company was built on "wrestling".....fuck you kevin dunn

Im with you there, its a pathetic attempt at acknowledgement especially when you consider that aside from Hogan, HE had the major storylines & made the some of the biggest $$$ during the early days. Whether it was with Steamboat, Hogan, Warrios, Jake - they all made for exciting entertainment which is sorely lacking today.

Steroids Kill Macho Man Randy Savage

Savage had a heart attack while driving and died.  The human body cannot ingest that poison called steroids and live a healthy life.  No doubt steroids enlarged and weakened his heart.  I've seen 'em come and I've seen 'em go.  Stay away feom the steroids creeps.

randy macho man savage died in a car accident, as he had a apparent heart attack while driving them crashed into a tree.

he was my favorite wrestler and i enjoyed watching him while i was  growing up.   he was a very cool guy, and i admired his showmanship.

one of my favorite quotes from him

"history beckons the macho man , yeeeeah!!"
