My wife and kids and I went to the Seattle Zoo. The big Silver back was right next to the glass with his ass on the ground and his back against the glass. I sat down ass to the ground with my back to the glass, my wife took a picture. I looked like a twig, I am 6'2 #230. The silverback noticed me and turned his head to look right at me. The look was priceless, I swear he was thinking that i was a smart ass for mimicking him.

did the same thing only when I was a kid. Maybe 14 years old. Talked some twink into pressing his face against the glass and closing his eyes. Gorilla back handed the glass and it moved about 2 inches the kid was crying. Thought his nose was broke. No blood no black eyes but I still gave it a 9 out of 10

Gorillas are almost completely harmless, it's very difficult to find any reports of anyone being maimed or killed by a gorilla. Chimps, on the other hand, maim people regularly and also cannibalize their own.

We split off from the wrong Genus imo.

I was watching a documentary on some chimpanzees not long ago. Their biggest predators were themselves.
