Ladies and Gents,

I'd like to keep this conversation as professionalas possible and would like us all to abstain from personal attacks....Yeah I know I'm asking alot... ;D



     Infidelity is being talked about in popular culture more than ever.  It's the topic of movies and tv shows and every week there's a celebrity cheating or being cheated on making headlines most weeks in various form of print and internet media.

50 years ago American television wouldn't show a married couple in bed together.  They'd have them in seperate beds see I Love Lucy episodes.  American culture was much more Conservative socially and many of todays accepted activities and lifestyles wouldn't have been tolarated.  

     One activity that has stood the test of time is infidelity and it will always exist as we exist. The rise of the internet has seen the infedilty take on a new shape in websites for escorts and prostitution and the internet making it much easier to have an extramaritial affair.  In addition, women are cheating in numbers today that rival men.  We've seen presidents, pastors, athletes, entertainers and and just about every race, religion, nationality and gender do it.  This is not so much as a why we do piece but more of what are your thoughts on it?  Have you done it? etc...

My thoughts are, I've been cheated on and I have cheated, I don't anymore, but I do believe especially for men it is a natural thing but obviously doesn't benefit society....

Actually a very good post. In a nutshell technology is a root cause back in the day before the Internet it was much tougher to cheat nowadays you just hook up online meet done deal. Spirtuality and morals are the key whatever that is for each individual.

I agree all are cheating except flirting...if the flirting gets physical like a slap on the ass, inappropriate touching...etc. then I'd have a real problem with it.

I think cheating has been going on 50 years ago...maybe to a little lesser scale but still going on. The difference is that the media and social media is so fucking instant these days as opposed to few generations ago.

I will bet you any amount of money that married guys on business trips, truck drivers...etc fucked around 50 years ago

And I know this is a double standard but cheating is much different for guys vs. girls.

For guys, they just want to get their nuts off. It's purely physcial with no emotional attachment.

For women, it's much more than just a quick lay.

I spend a lot of time hanging out with pretty successful guys. Few docs, real estate developers, police lieutenants, sales guys...etc.

ALL of them cheat when presented with the opportunity. It's almost surreal, they all talk about getting side pussy whether it's a prostitue, a slut from a bar...etc.

People would be really surprised if they found out the number of guys that cheated.

That's correct.its pretty sad really.in the past I did it and suffered.not thinking about what I,was doing.

That has nothing to do with being tough...Old guys from those days would think little of men that cheat on their family.  Not that they didn't do it but men viewed their marriages differently then.
