05-25-11: Silvio Samuel, IFBB Pro Bodybuilder, had given his commitment to compete at the 2011 IFBB Tijuana Pro Bodybuilding contest on September 10th, 2011. Promoter Luis Ramirez is providing $30,000 in prize money for Men's Bodybuilding, and $8,000 prize money for the Pro Bikini contest.

I heard a story from 2 dudes about being shaked down by policia for steroids and when they were found to not have any steroids their wallets were emptied. $:-\$ Both guys parked this side and walked across the border.

It's the local amateur IFBB offering prize money for a 'pro' class along with their amateur event. Is this contest officially sanctioned by the IFBB Pro League? Which I guess means is the amateur Tijuana IFBB paying a sanction fee to the IFBB Pro League? That's the problem you get when two completely separate corporations use the same name and logo.
