What a punk.  Who is he, Jay Leno?   ::)  So he found a number of people who couldn't answer his question?  Big friggin deal.

And are we really going to judge a candidate based on some of his supporters?

No, he found a bunch of people who's whole Tea PARTY motto, is no more bailouts and absolve the Fed and then the same group of idiots support a pro bailout, pro Fed candidate. Retarded.

You guys always posted these RP, 9/11 videos and had your laugh, Im doing the same thing with Cain and NOW you dont like it. Now the supporters dont reflect the candidate?  Some of you didnt have a probelm lumping them together prior to this. Love the bias.

At least RP stated he doesnt believe the CT theroies, Cain still believes the bailouts were great and then outta the other side of his mouth bashes socialism and free rides, preaches pulling yourself up by your bootstraps... ::)

A bunch of people?  What was that, like ten people he showed?  Why didn't he include responses from people who gave the correct answer to this set-up question?

I don't recall posting the RP clip before.  I could have, but don't remember.  I also don't think Ron Paul should be judged by a handful of idiots who believe the government shot down commercial airliners or blew up the WTC.

You're right, in the video he only shows a few but believe it or not, I visit other sites other then those I agree with and just about all his supporters are alike. The same could be said for his knowledge on some foreign matters, he's just as clueless, (at least he admits it),  as some of his supporters think other certain candidates are but that's just fine and dandy, so long as he can give a good speech and look half decent on camera and people wonder why nothing changes.

Who on the board is a Cain supporter?  So far I've only seen him talked about, but not sure anybody's really pimping him as the candidate to get behind.

I haven't been looking on other sites for people's comments about Cain, but a number of people I know like him, and they are smart people.  Not necessarily a representative example of all supporters (and neither is the clip you posted), but just shows I have different experiences.

I haven't dug too deeply into Cain, but I'm glad that someone who isn't a career politician and has been a successful business leader is in the race.

We're never going to have perfect candidates running for office.  I've also never voted for a candidate that I agreed with on every issue.

There isn't a single perfect candidate. And that applies to Cain.

HOWEVER, he does espouse a lot of the traits that people want to hear right now. And let's be honest. There is next to no change that the Fed is going anywhere regardless of who wins the next presidency. People really think it will just vanish into thin air?

And for what it's worth, Herman Cain advocates a return to the gold standard.

Bindare is doing what all Ron Paul fanatics are going to be doing; attacking anyone that threatens the little niche place in politics that the geriatric has carved out for himself.

The diff is at least you put in an effort to be informed and have a general, overall idea of what a candidate's main talking points are. I agree you dont have to agree with everything but if the MAIN focus of the candidates postion is a hypocritical stance then wtf? What these people are doing would be the equivalent of me constantly bashing the 700 Club and then supproting Jerry Fallwell, if he ran for Pres. If he didnt equite himself as a Tea PARTY believer I wouldnt hold him to this particular issue as I do but he is not what he says he is.

You're damn right, I won't back down from this. Why would I be quite when a legit movement gets taken over by some half ass beleiver? I get sick of this shit. Yeah, you nailed it, people want to hear this guy mention shit Ron has been saying for years but he gets tossed aside as a lunatic. Another chance at some real change gets  taken over by Palin, Bachmann, now this guy. Its a fucking joke.

Constitution this and that, the guy doesnt know the Constitution from a hole in a wall.

Ron Paul is too polarizing to be president. I'd like to be wrong but he won't win shit. Cain carries a lot of the same traits (and has) and doesn't rub people the wrong way like Paul does.

Pipe dream that the Ron Paul fanatics refuse to acknowledge. They truly are approaching Obama drone status.

A win for me means the message keeps growing and thats what I've been saying for years but I don't want it to be a dilluted version from someone who doesnt fully understand it and is late to the party. I think the guy deserves much more respect then he's gotten.

He hasn't received respect because he comes off like a moonbat whenever he's not discussing the economy.

I am with ron paul on about 90 percent of his issues.

However, seeing what we do in politics in general, the sad fact of the matter is that the idiot public is going to hear catholic charity for healthcare and freak, same with a lot of other stuff.

I don't blame rp for this at all.   Its the general idiot public who is not ready for this.  I know they love the anti war stuff, but when they hear that rp is paul ryan x 1000 they will freak and run to the con man obama.

According to most everyone, he came across as a moonbat regarding the economy years ago. Sooner or later he's going to be vindicated on some of these other issues as well.

Maybe the stars will align and he'll do well enough in the early primaries to get some momentum behind him. Don't see it happening.

Either way, Paul OR Cain are an upgrade over Romney.

I didn't say that he's wrong on the other issues. I love his UN stance. I said he comes off as a moonbat when discussing them, regardless of what stance he's taking. It sounds like a completely different person whenever he talks about somethings besides the economy.

Another thing - look how his son rand presents things.   I'm sure rand agrees with pa on almost everything, yet rand delivers it in a much clearer way more accessible to the average moron.

I know it's not fair, etc.   But it's reality that is politics today.

If Ron Paul cared about America he'd have gotten out of the way and let Rand run.

Not that it matters. The GOP isn't smart enough to not give the nom to Romney.

Cain is a 7/10.

He may be a 9/10 by election day.  Or he may be a 5/10.  Mccain certainly slid from a 7/10 to a 5/10 by eleciton day with his implosion, etc.

But right now, the best of the field seem to be 6/10...  mitt has romneycare, tpaw is lame, palin is a dummy, newt is a grifter who pissed off the base...

maybe huntsman is golden, but he's unknown, so he's 8/10 at best.

I kind of agree with you about Ron Paul, but I wish we were both wrong.  When Obama was running, I remember many here posting that a black man would not be elected president of the US for many generations to come, that the US wasn't ready yet.  They were wrong.  Maybe Ron Paul, or someone like him will surprise everyone and win.
