 I used to catch mantids and put them into "The Fight of Death" with Black Widows, and catching Lady Bug Larvae and let them have their way with aphids...fun times, fun times

They are probably the insects I hate the most!  Have zero tolerance for them.

Parks,ever see a mole cricket........never heard of one until I lived in Florida in the early 90`s.......creepy alienesque looking bug!!!!!!!!!!!!

The big fast furry house centipedes are another of the creepiest as you stated........those suckers can move ulta-fast.
