The USA isn't perfect but I strongly believe that American capitalism is hugely responsible for the well-being of Canada on the whole. Do Canadians have gratitude for this? Not as much as they should in my opinion. If the USA is so horrible, how come so many people risk their lives to live there? I think the USA is the land of milk and honey, if there ever was one.

Calling the USA "The Land f the Free" is a fucking joke. What exactly is free about it? The extreme laws and regulations? The lack of national health insurance? The police state? The codes and laws on every little thing. The highest level of incarceration? Yup, free country for sure....

Couple of days ago I watched Bruce Willis' "Striking Distance" on tv and so he is a "river cop" and he stopped boat full of teenagers speeding and he pulled the most strenuous Eastwood badass look at me I'm so tough face he could and barely said anything other than "here's your ticked" and "gimme your liquour" (which he dumbed into the river). He was as distant and as much of an asshole he could. I'm trying to understand the situation here. Do American people maybe like asshole cops? (Because they are the heroes on tv?) Or are the Hollywood movies just the reflection of the culture that already was in place before the movies?

Who are the people risking their lives to get into USA? No one from the civilised western world thats for sure. Maybe a few south/central american scumbags. It is now more difficult for a US citizen to get entry to work in UK than the other way around. Been this way sonce the new emigration rules set in October 2009. USA is the most brainwashed country in the world. The reason why education is kept at so low a level for the majority of residents is to stop them from realising this. The Western world laughs at you knumbskulls.  |

There probably were a lot of tourists in the place... How can anyone anymore go there when there is a risk police suddenly comes out of nowhere and start beating everyone up??? Holy shit  I would rather spend my holiday in North Korea than in USA... At least in NK tourists are allowed to film monuments - in America fkin' police comes out and starts beating you and tell filming is not allowed  Sick. Think it! You come from other side of world with your family for holiday. You decide visiting this place... police is arresting some couple and accidentally you are filming the monument at the same time. Police comes to you, beats you up, says no filming allowed. You have maybe your children watching... You ask "why no filming?" Police says 'ok, that's it, you're arrested'. In front of your family you get handcuffed, arrested. You may never see again your home country or family as there is this guantanamo and everything! Fuked up holiday, LOL Scary Would never dare to travel to America without huge private security army from Russia . |

You see, you get a lot of loonies coming to Washington DC to express their "freedom of expression", these include drunken disorderly, trying to deface monuments, shouting and creating distubances...and since those are national monuments, the the park police are serious as fuck...
And let's not start on the yahoo that shot a officer a few yrs back in a public building...or the dude who drove a tractor into the Narional Mall...
