If they asked Doug I assume he would fly in and eradicate the entire university. Just my take.

My ass has been laughing my entire ass off all day long! I am headed back to Columbus in 2012!! This shit is just getting started. I also expect for O$U to get hit with lack of institutional control.  8)

Urban Meyer just purchased a home in Ohio right before Tressel was fired, er....I mean resigned. Although I think there's no way he'll coach OSU.

No way Meyer steps into the shit that is going to hit the fan after the article and when the NCAA is finished with O$U.....No way O$U walks away with less sanctions than what U$C got. Pryor was seen #OhioState QB Terrelle Pryor arrived in Nissan 350z with temporary tags and tinted windows. Pryor is the one who help end Tressel's career, but tressel was willing to sell his soul to win a National Championship and beat Michigan. Tressel has proven himself to be even more dirty than Lane Kiffin and that is sad, truly sad. O$U knew what was going on and they rode with him straight down.

Oh c'mon, leave Kiffin out of this. His team has to suffer because of something that happen almost 7-8 years ago.

For your email/Twitter distribution pleasure, a quick summary of the points that were highlighted in the Sports Illustrated piece posted on their website at 9 PM EST:

Tressel's willingness to bend rules went both to the innocuous (reportedly fixing parking tickets for players in exchange for papers from the players regarding being better citizens) to the odd (rigging summer camp raffles for prized recruits) to the important (blind eye to obvious warning signs involving boosters, local businesses)
NCAA officials are investigating Pryor for the type of benefits many have rumored other players, such as Clarett and Smith enjoyed.
Nearly 30 players are 'proveably' tied to resale of autographed goods for marijuana, tattoos or cash
Hired equipment managers who, like the honey badger, don't give a shit.
Tressel believed his own life coaching was more important than real life penalties.

#OhioState QB Terrelle Pryor arrived in Nissan 350z with temporary tags and tinted windows. Pryor will never get "IT"  :D He is supposed to have left O$U for the supplemental draft.....but that is just speculation as of right now. Tressel promised to come back if the Tat 5 came back and what did he do? That's right...call it stepping down, but he left and do you really feel that he was ever worried about the kids? Tress was worried about that $3.5 Million and having the #1 team in the nation.

Most people never knew the tats for autographs was going on for this long, we never knew that their was an entire Buckeye Culture behind it. We never knew the entire history of how Tressell would enable this behavior among his players.

It's about as bad as you can get. There's simply no excuse for the NCAA to not ban Ohio State from the postseason and maybe even TV for at least 3 or 4 years, and give them a worse scholarship beat down than USC or Alabama. Nor should any win under JT be anything but tainted. He's a dirty coach who intentionally ran a dirty program since the day he stepped on campus, and and even during his YSU days. It's obvious he's never had a single year where he didn't intentionally field an ineligible player.

Tressel would sell his soul for a single W. The Vest got penetrated like a man in a thong on stage getting cheered on by other homosexuals and loved every minute of it...till he got caught.

Terelle Pryor: This is the same guy [when talking about Michael Vick] stated:

"Not everybody's the perfect person in the world. I mean everyone kills people, murders people, steals from you, steals from me, whatever. I think that people need a second chance, and I've always looked up to Mike Vick, and I always will.”

I don't think he's Mensa material.  :o

He'll probably end up having a little vacation behind bars as Vick did somewhere down the road with a statement like that.

I shall go ahead and bite on this one....

about the schollies too. USC is facing a 15 limit for the next 3 years. Thats 15x3=45 recruits, not including that the 75 limit might hinder their ability to always take their allowed 15. So that's under 45 recruits in 3 years, meaning that in 2016, when this class is 5th year seniors, USC is going to have under 45 non-freshman players. Even assuming 45, that means when they go back to an 85 total limit, they're going to be working with at least 40 freshman (between redshirts and trues). And that's being generous, because they aren't going to be able to take all 45 over 3 years, plus kids are going to bust and transfer at whatever rate they do. Could get real nasty at USC in a few years.

I will be shocked if Pryor is even eligiable for his senior season.  :o Tressel sold his soul for this kid and TP was his downfall.

Nope. Chargers selected two Wolverines this year.  ;) Taking bets that Pryor will be selected by the Lions as a tackling dummy.  :o :o
