Mike how do you respond to high doses of test only cycles? curious..

Firstly this post is ONLY for entertainment. It is not meant to be taken seriously as I do not condone illicit drug usage.

My experience with test- mostly use prop, but back in the day (2002 2003) I hovered around 235-240 when I was 22, 5ft9 31 inch waist.

Anyways I never needed much to get huge. At the bodyweight above I was running 800/400 test/deca. Shitty tornel at that...

I don't like test, it makes me strong but bloats me beyond belief. Much prefer anabolics. And like BLP, I am carb sensitive...So maybe something in that?

I did try high dose *once*- At the time the latest rage had been taking 1gram per week of test, essentially to saturate AR and also to kill cortisol. Some research found that at that dosage and higher, cortisol production essentially ceases.

Well a new theory came out, that you could create mutation at 2grams per week. Which I believe is still true. However, you have to build up to it! The biggest mistake of my life (aside from trying coke) was doing this protocol.

Picked up a shitload of icn gelinka, I had a great plug only like $6 an amp, and proceeded to plug away at my quads.

4 amps twice a week, mondays and thursdays. And gelincka's are overdosed mind you, many will cyrstallize on you...Just like testoviron.

By the end of week three, I was already 253lbs, my highest recorded bodyweight. No doubt I got over 265 mostly from bloat. BUT I was running a fever, and could not figure out why.

By middle of next week I was hospitalized with an out of control fever. Was 103.8 at the hospital. They gave me xtra strength tylenol and told me if it got much higher I would be dumped in a bath of rubbing alcohol.

Did some bloodwork and found a life threatening infection in my lungs.

Many EXPERTS on AAS will tell you to run a course of anti-biotics for a few weeks before a big cycle. Anyone who tells you that is an EXPERT and you should always listen to their advice.

I had a dormant lung infection sitting at bay in my lungs, probably had it for years. My body was keeping it at bay, but couldn't kill it (strong strain of something, forget what). When I high dosed the test, my body assumed the stuff was another invader and proceeded to try and kill it. And guess what? The lung infection now had free reign and took off. I was coughing the worst thickest green phlem you had ever seen for two weeks. I mean it hurt to cough so bad I expected to see blood. I was hallucinating from the fever, I could hear my mother and family talking all the time, but no one was there.

That one cycle killed my bodybuilding career (assuming i never get back into it). I went from 253 down to 210-205 within about a month. No eating no lifting and my test levels crashed after the cycle. I remember before the cycle overhand rowing 405x10 great reps, I was unstoppable, after the cycle I could barely row 135 and that was heavy! It was miserable.

I managed to rebuild my strength to about 70% of what I used to do, and maintain that drug free, so no worries. And that one high dose blast put some muscle on my body I have NEVER lost. To this day I can get back in after a 2 month layoff and within 2-3 weeks it looks like I never left haha. Partly genetic.

SO there is my reaction to high dose test. My immune system tried to kill it, essentially. I do want to try high dose deca, see what that does.

the antibiotic thing is something I had never thought of, decent advice there my man.  Cheap shit, ain't gonna hurt in my opinion. Running a bunch of shit has to fuck with your head,  for real. the things these dudes do are tough, so always give credit. Levrone just looks like an animal doing that. I don't care what people say about him, one of the best EVER and still looking good.

You have your choice of blindly running anti-biotics or going to see a doctor and having blood work done as well as a chest x-ray.

The fever nearly killed me, I am damn lucky trust in that.

Yes, Levrone was a freak presser. If he had a few months specificity training, an added dozen or so leverage bodyweight pounds and worked up in his poundages properly, he would have likely pushed 600 for a solid rep. Who know what he could have done had he focussed for a couple of years on pure stength and preformance.

He tore his pec benching 600+ pounds in 1993, so, he been there, done that.

sounds like you know more than me

lets hear the stories

E

what the heck , keep in mind take it with a grain of salt. still some parts I have doubts about.
I know a personal trainer who's older brother lived  down in Maryland who and became  good freinds with Kev. . One point during Kevin's prep, he would lock himself in his room and play with toy guns and soldiers ALL day. . Someone apparently (he claimsit it was his brother ) dropped off some fresh fish that he caught for Kevin..Kev looked a little "off" and after opening the fridge to put the fish in Kev collapsed on his bed...so he  walked in his room and there was Kev passed out drunk.... hundreds of dirty needles, amps, vials ,cotton balls, tabs scattered across the floor with a bottle of Jack daniels resting on Kevin's stomach, passed out cold. He also said he heard a women in the bathroom singing the song that Kev posed to during that year. Enrique Iglesias "Hero" I believe is the name of the song..

fullblown baby(:

Kevin posed to that song at the 2011 Mr. Olympia.

Given Kevin's drinking and consumption of gear, I am amazed with how well he aged.  He will be 46 in July and I think he looks a lot younger.

He's not 46, he'll be around 43. He stated his age in one of his vids last year saying when he was competiting in 92 at the age of 23 or so.

Not that it matters, but impressive nonetheless.

Exactly, his date of birth is on these forms. It was visible when he first posted these pics on his blog. Later it was removed. When I posted these pics a while ago on MD as proof of Levrone's age, Shawn deleted them.

Kevin was not born in 1968. he was born in 1965. I've personally seen his driver's license when I worked at his gym in maryland. Kevin always lied about his age, just like a woman does. At one point on IMDB, he had his birth year listed at 1968. For some reason it's now shows it at 1964.

Kevin will be 46 in July. It looks as if he hand wrote his birthdate on that piece of paper.

And yes, the man looks better than most people that are 10-15 years younger. Looks healthly with a full head of hair, too.

aloof is probably the best way to describe him.

When I worked for him, he was definitely a moody, reclusive dude when he was prepping for the Arnold and the Olympia. He clearly didn't enjoy dieting for a show. But what pro does?

Funny story....on the road trip to the 1999 Arnold classic(a show he clearly should've won over Nasser-but his lack of size cost him), he was drinking gallon after gallon of distilled water in his limo. Instead of stopping at rest stops to take a piss, he would just whip his cock out in front of 5-7 people in the limo and start pissing in the empty jugs. He just didn't give a shit and he had this distant, uninterested expression on his face which was funny as hell.

Ive heard rumors the dude was a massive alcoholic and really like some rec drugs.
Could be all bullshit, I dont know, but in a lot of his vids, he seems fucked up, and his personality seems different vid to vid, like one day hes drunk as shit, one day hes wired out of his mind on coke/meth/stimulants, next day hes on downers.
Just an observation Ive made.

limo? how rich was kevin really?

Seems like he blew all his money anyways seeing how he's now resorting to selling useless supplements.

He wasn't poor during his bodybuilding prime years, that's for sure. He definitely had some loot. Millionaire? no. More look a few hundred thousand dollars a year.

What's the big deal about renting a limo? You don't have to be rich to get a reasonable rate.

Definitely a weird dude. Seems like he's drunk or on roofies during alot of his video clips too. I  liked him as a bodybuilder, but he always seemed like an attention whore to me.

Back to the topic, guy was an insanely strong presser and its really incredible that such a little man could handle big weights like that with such little effort. Drugs REALLY do wonders.

'little man'? Compared to who? In his competitive years, Kevin was 250+ with minimal body fat.

Did you click on page 2 and see him rep 30 times at 225lbs? He can't weigh more than 205 in that video. That's pretty strong considering the typical NFL lineman at the combine weighs 300-350lbs and can rep 30-35 times at 225. Kevin has always been naturally strong as a fucking ox with or without drugs.

Kevin Levrone is not a big man. He is 5'9" 190 without major gear. And I never discredited his strength, I know how strong he was and still is for "his size". He's still a little man though, im sorry.

There are people here on this very board who can bench press 225X25-30 who are under 200lbs. Also, those 350lb lineman are not predominantly bench pressers, they bench press casually and are just that strong because they are big dudes.
