What type of "respect" are us short guys lacking? I never have people "disrespecting" me openly. Is it like the kind where they are thinking disrespectful stuff?

I find that people everywhere talk a lot of shit behind others backs. Everyone has something disparaging to say when the other isn't around. I make it a point to be able to say anything straight to someone's face that I'd say behind their back. If you're paying attention, that's called giving respect.

As a result, I find people see me as truthful whether they like my opinion or not, and consequently, people treat me with respect.

None of this has anything to do with height.

My father was 5'1". At his wake, hundreds of people came that I had no idea knew my father. Height has nothing to do with anything other than attracting females. I'll admit that's the one area that leaves me wishing I was 5'11 or so.

The short guy won a pro card. However, honest to GOD, I SWEAR on all that's sacred, I would much rather be the height of the tall guy than have a "pro" card. I don't mean that as a joke or to belittle the competitor but, honestly, I cherish my over 6 foot height. NO amount of muscle would make up for that.

Don't blame you at all. I'd love to be 6'. But being that I can't control it, I'd just as soon worry about something I can control... like building muscles.
