I have a business and the best way to beat the economy is to be debt free....we are debt free so when business is slow we don't stress a whole lot because we don't have that burden. Worst thing you can do in business is to have business loans, investors or partners.

I'm a Strategic planning and business development manager in HVAC manufacturing company

Also in grad school doing my phd in Industrial Engineering and working part time as a graduate research assistant.

I'm an IT consultant but went self employed recently due to being SICK of working for stupid kuunting companies. I'm currently working on a 2 year project for one of the major and oldest IT companies in the world and after that I'm taking 3 years off to go back to university to get a law degree. What I really want to do is to work for the United Nations on some of there 3rd world development programs. Basically, I'm sick of chasing money and working with dicks. I live in London but have a house in Vienna, Austria. Fully paid up I might add. So I'll move to Vienna when I'm done here and do my degree there and hopefully spend the rest of my days there.

So no millions here nor banging hotties every night

Just hard work and good old saving.

And that stupid American how-much-do-you-make-a-year question... It's like asking how tall someones dick is (well, is...) to verify if your dick has a normal size.

Myself, I have a average job in a distribution center. It pays the bills -so to say- and it's only for 20 hours a week, so not too much stress, I can be myself pretty much, no boring meetings and other company related shit. The rest of my time I spend on personal projects like programming and investing.

say that to amazon, google, apple, any hedge fund, etc. they're doing ok from business loans, investors and partners.

you're classified as a "small business", so you can get by on no loans. me and the old man have a family business, and also have no loans, investors or partners, but if we're ever to get out of the "small" classification, we'd need millions to get started.

I WAS rich, but divorce has a way of redistributing wealth, so now I just make in the low 6 figures and adjusting to the difference.
