Started an online biz back in 2009. Work from home, set my own hours. Never thought money could come this easily.

Work about 4-6 hrs/wk.

A puny fraction of the previously mentioned.

Better off begging for change downtown.

It seems like American people never will admit if they are poor or have a crappy job.

They always lie. ike they think it's shameful if they don't make tons of money.

Capitalism got them brainwashed I guess.

Everyone one of your posts has LOSER written all over it.

Served in the Navy then went on to a Law Enforcement detachment in the Coast Guard.  Got an honorable discharge, worked private security for a bit then went in the field of corrections while finishing my degree.  Became a Probation Officer before wanting to do something else with my life while I was still young.  I currently change oil and other minor maintenance stuff at a local auto shop while going to school for auto body collission.  I make 11 bucks an hour slopping oil. The most I've ever made in a year was just over $70k due to overtime and a little part time job on the side.  So yes, I currently do have a crappy job with schooling to finish to get into a slightly higher paying crappy job.

Getting a good job is overrated.

The rat race to get a good job and keep it makes most people absolutely miserable. We spend our lives chasing these fucking jobs instead of living our lives.

I'm just about ready to take my savings and just wander around homeless. I could wander around for years with the savings I have.

Humans lived for millions of years just being hunter-gatherers. Too bad it's nearly impossible to live that way in this system. The system is designed to force you to work. A quick study of the current state of the agricultural industry will reveal this as self evident.

My family would describe you as they did me as a "late bloomer." I admire your humility and honesty. There are great things in store for you in the future.

great post.  Most people go there whole lives chasing money and a better job or a promotion, and for what you ask?  Material things, in the end will not make you happy.  You have to have happiness from your inner self.  Happiness from material acquisitions is only momentary.  The government though wants you to be in the rat race, get that job, get married, get a house mortgage, a kid, etc etc, that means they will have a life long tax payer, and the dream is sold in magazines of marriage and through television, it is all to create a stable society, if this social construct was not ingrained or brainwashed into people as they grew up society would be pretty unstable, but we are in good hands, most fools fall for the whole family, kids, mortgage, job, shit there whole life then die.

I found that honest labor is very satisfying.  I see a direct result of my work.  I've always had to wear some sort of uniform for most of my working life.  Now, I throw on a pair of coveralls or a t shirt and jeans.  Little to no politics to get involved.  No worries if I'm going to get shot, stabbed, or kicked the crap out of.  Get some dirt, grease, and oil on my hands. I'm learning a brand new trade from scratch.  There is work stress, but it is a good stress....simply work related.  Now my wife can ask me about my day.......before she knew not to ask me, lol.

My son-in-law has been deployed to Iraq twice and is probably headed for another deployment, this time in Afghanistan, coming this fall. All of us who love him, know there is much he doesn't talk about from his time on the "front lines." My son is retired after twenty-two years in the army. He now works for the Federal government doing the same work he did when he was in the army....only now, he can quit if he doesn't like the work. I have a pretty good understanding of how difficult it is to be in a job that takes you places you feel no one can understand and so you bottle up your feelings.

You are a lucky man that you have chosen to find work that you can bring into your everyday life with those you love. There is nothing to laugh about when you say she knew not to ask about how your day went. I suspect you know this.

LMAO @ little brown people

Thanks.
It was funny, & serious at the same time.
They breed like flies, can't run a country for shit (with-out military dictatorships), have an average IQ of sub-90, etc.........
What do they offer the world??

Shit, when Europeans first arrived, there was no buildings made of stone (nothing was in fact),  no buildings over 1 story, no organised farming / animal husbandry (& no, keeping a few goats in a pen does not count  ::)) no sewerage systems, running water, etc.

Problems, problems, what to do??
