just think of all the 15 year old boys who begged out of work mommy and daddy for money to order those muscletech products from bodybuilding.com because they think they'll look like phil if they do. If Phil was honest about what he does, he wouldn't be able to afford half of that. It's sad that honesty and benevolence will ruin a bodybuilding career but greed and lies is a recipe for success.

I challenge Phil to tell the truth here what he really owes his muscles to, and how much of an effect those muscletech products really have. But he won't; he'll either not answer at all, call me a name, or say that everybody else does it so it must be moral to lie. Or this post calling for truth will be deleted and cited as a vicious attack on a pro bodybuilder who has graced us with his most awesome presence.

no I disagree. He is not an actor. People watch movies with the general knowledge that what they see isn't real (most people don't think that one guy is really a vampire for example). Phil is knowingly and intentionally presenting a falsehood on a demographic which is mostly teenagers so that by manipulating them he can make profit.

It's not that I simply "want him to say something different." It's not like michael jordan wearing a hanes tshirt. Bodybuilding involves intentionally presenting a product one knows to be false while using illegal substances to get the real results. This is more complicated than a simple contract issue. I don't think it's ever justified to manipulate teenagers in order to make money.

It's not just him "doing his job", and yes I can fault a man for being immoral.

If you agree then you agree to my point that Phil should not manipulate children in order to make money. This is why I've asked him to please tell the truth about how much muscletech has affected his gain in muscles, and what is it that really gives him muscle size. I already know the answer, but my point is that the majority of muscletech buyers who see Phil in ads endorsing muscletech do not know the answer. Phil should not let money trump morals.
